We just had salads w Mahi on them. The filets were perfect and delicious. The fried green tomatoes were good but we had better in Savannah. Great service. Enjoyable experience.

If you're not a shrimp and grit person, you will be after this! Our bartender, Chase, was helpful and friendly.

I ordered 3 meals and an appetizer. The spinach dip had no flavor and was too thick. My daughter's Buffalo wings were too soggy and had no flavor. My son's chicken tenders were too chewy and had no flavor. I ordered a crab cake sandwich, which absolutely had no flavor and was too soft( a little bit of crunchiness would have been good). Waiter was nice. I wouldn't recommend because the food wasn't good.

I went to this restaurant on Thursday, March 28 at about 5:40. We were seated quickly and our blonde waitress took our drink orders and appetizer orders without issue. However, it did take her &/or the kitchen a long time to get them out to us. The main dishes took a bit of time as well & that seemed unusual because it wasn't that busy. She also didn't check back on us frequently. When she did, she wasn't overly friendly. The food was good and priced reasonably but I don't plan on going back. The background music was not appropriate for family dining. They also talked on a 10% gratuity (for 6 guests) without mentioning it. That usually happens with parties of 8 or more....

Bartender and waitress spent more time complaining about other staff and how little they make than they spent waiting on customers. We had to "ask" the Bartender to wait on us the first time and then she never asked if we wanted a second drink, food was just ok, tasted reheated and soggy. At one point she sat in a booth rolling napkins and never looked toward the bar to keep track of her customers. The people next to us gave up and never ordered their food, just got a beer to go. We felt like we were intruding and inconveniencing them. Do not recommend and next time we are in Savannah we would either go to another restaurant or drive the 60 miles home and eat but would not go back to Dockside Seafood. Great building and location - sad because it could be great.

Came here super hungry, left super hungry, got a burger super easy, first came with tomato’s and onions, which I asked not to have because I’m deadly allergic, no big deal I sent it back, then it came back and the burger wasn’t even cooked. Sent it back. Will not return.

Accommodated our larger family and service and food was great.
Service extremely slow. Had to you plastic ware as dishwasher quit mid shift. Most of group food was good. I had poor boy shrimp sandwich. Bread shrimp lettuce tomato. Nothing else. Very bland. Asked for some sauce, never got it. Other choices for restaurants in area I would recommend trying

This place has the best fired pickles! They are a must try. Our server was great. It’s a historic building with a great view of the river.

Very rude bartenders (specifically a small blonde) everytime I was up at the bar, which was not very crowded on St Patrick's day, she was yelling at customers. It was so bad another bartender had to step in to stop her from yelling at customers. Horrible experience and vibes.

My husband and I stopped here for appetizers and drinks. Sat outside with a great view of the river. Had the chicken nachos and crab stuffed mushrooms which were delicious. The key lime pie was so good, I plan to go back for another slice.

Had high hopes for this one but between the service and food quality it did not meet expectations. Server forgot to put in our app, no big deal, accident happen. The bar was a little slower making our drinks… the food was very basic.. nothing was memorable or mouthwatering.
