Aweee. This was so bad it was comical. I NEVER write reviews but this one deserves it. At first glance we thought they may have forgotten cheese on our supreme pizza but after much, much closer inspection we realized that, yes! There is cheese... a slight cheese pull! No, not a cheese pull... a hair. A long, blonde hair pull. Nice. Appetite ruined. I'll eat salad then. Three day old salad, hardly a serving for one. Y'all, this salad was so old I thought the dressing was already on it but no just watered down, soggy salad. The frozen and flavorless "garlic" breadsticks were the highlight of the meal. With 100% certainty I will never eat at this establishment again. So sad, I was looking forward to supporting a smaller business.

Ordered a chicken caprese salad and it had no Roma tomatoes and no mozzarella! How is that considered a caprese salad???

I posted a review about an experience with Donatoe's Pizza on Whitemarsh Island a few weeks ago, and shortly after the order I had a call from the manager who asked about our experience, said he would investigate. Following the investigation he called back, apologized and offered me a credit for a future order. Tonight we made that order, and I am here to recant some of my previous comments. The delivery arrived within the given time frame, the food was reasonably warm, not hot, and the flavors were good. To be sure the crust is not that yeasty, flakey, texture, but the flavor is good. I do have to say that when I called to place our order and said that I was using a store credit, I had to explain myself to 2 people, and presumably after a call to the manager they got it straightened out, except for $1.46 that apparently my order exceeded the account. Nevertheless, we are all even with Donato's. I might have to make the 15 minute drive to Huckapoo's on Tybee whose pizza we like the best in the area.

This was our first time ordering from Donato’s based upon recommendations from our neighbors. We ordered from t the online menu which was a big clunky especially for adding or subtracting options. But it was easy to set the time of delivery and make payment. Promptly at the appointed delivery time, I received notification that the pizzas were delivered at the door. However, when stepping outside to get them there were no pizzas. I called the delivery driver and explained the issue, and he responded to say that someone wrote the wrote house number on the delivery tag. He returned about 15 minutes later with our pizzas. Although the boxes were luke warm, the pizzas themselves were much less than warm after opening the box. We were very pleased with the flavors of the pizzas, and not being vegan or gluten-free eaters, we noticed a chewiness about the crust of the vegan pizza.Overall the pizzas were very good, and would be a very likely choice for our pizzeria food choice, but we will not choose delivery until the kinks are pressed out of that system.Vegetarian options: We only got the Greek Vegan pizza because we had a special offer

It was quick and great food, the pizza and wings were lovely but the service was even lovelier!
Unreal. Attempted to order online and was unable to so I called in an order. When I arrived I was told it was not ready. I sat there for 20 min. Then when back to the register to find out they do not have my order. And no I did not call the waters store… why this wasn’t addressed when I first walked in is even more ridiculous. Every customer in there seemed annoyed.

Hands down the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had!!! The dessert with the icing and sprinkles is also delicious. Wings are even good!! The young girl at the front counter was very sweet. Island people should all give this new pizza joint a chance!!!

I just had the worst experience with them. At first I was told my pizza would be delivered in 20 minutes. I call back just under an hour later, and I was told it would be delivered in two minutes. I call back 5 minutes later and was told it would be an hour and it still hadn't been made yet. I was straight-up lied to, pretty gangsta really. I asked to get a refund and it will take 2-3 business days, no confirmation number, and if it doesn't work, I get the pleasure of being inconvenienced by them again to go there in-person to get my refund. I will never give them my business again.
