Authentic Chinese cuisine. Tried several dishes and all were delicious ? server was friendly. Handmade dumplings ? right in front of you. Has a small bar with plenty of choices. Nice decor.

I love E-tang, it really the only authentic Chinese restaurant in Savannah. Was there last week. Next time I go I will be sure to tell the waiter to not bring the appetizer and entire at the same time . I have been there numerous times and the food is always fantastic.

It is an authentic and decent Chinese restaurant in the town. It was decorated well and the service was great. Highly recommend their soup dumplings which tasted authentic with abundant soup inside the buns. Their other dishes were also cooked well with a large size.

Me and my friend had the unfortunate displeasure of dining at this wretched excuse for a restaurant. The food, if you could even call it that, is extremely disgusting and overcooked slop masquerading as cuisine. They pre-cook the food because they will give you the food within five minutes after ordering them. The most disgusting thing is, they had the audacity to demand a MANDATORY tip even though you’re not satisfy with their service and food. Save yourself and avoid this restaurant which should be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!

Came for the first time on 2/29/2024 with a friend at 6pm. It was kind of busy, but it is also a small spot. So it fills up quickly. Anyway it took a little while for our serve to get to the table(no biggie) She took our drinks and came back. That would be 2nd to last time we would see her again. We both ordered and my friend received his food. The food was great, great flavors no problem.. My food however didn't show up. After 15 min of trying to flag down the server. I don't know if she was the only one work or what was going on. When I did get her she seemed confused about the food I ordered. Not sure if there was a communication barrier or what. I ordered dumplings and a shrimp plate. The dumplings came out super late and they were good. I however never got the shrimp plate, and by the time she realized I didn't want it. They tried to make it up to me but by that point I was over it. Again the food is good no doubt about that. The service.....meh. I'll try again when it's not so busy.

My spouse, a friend, and I dined at E-Tang, an Asian cuisine spot located on Oglethorpe in Savannah. The restaurant offers dishes in family-sized servings. Being our initial visit, we opted to sample a variety of dishes, including Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Soup Dumplings, Sesame Chicken, Twice Cooked Pork, and Crispy Spicy Chicken. Despite our hearty appetites, we ended up with leftovers enough for two additional meals. Each dish was well-prepared and aesthetically served. The menu's photographs aided us in selecting which items to taste first, and we've already marked our calendars for a follow-up visit to explore more of their enticing offerings that we didn't manage to try this time. From my experience, it's challenging to find American Chinese Food in Savannah, yet E-Tang offers exactly that and comes highly recommended.

Best Chinese in Savannah. Great service. Delicious food. Do not miss the cucumber garlic appetizer. Milk tea is also extremely good. Sweet, but not too sweet.Recommend getting a few less plates than people at your table and sharing among all, the portions are definitely large enough to share.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. Many tofu dishes. The steamed pea greens (?) looked amazing, someone at a nearby table got them, and it's on my list for next time.

The most famous Chinese restaurant in Savannah has two styles of chefs. It is recommended to try them on different working days to see which one suits you.

So disappointed. Ordered the sweet sour chicken and was given small breaded chicken pieces abd a small dish of sweet sour sauce. No veggies, just some nasty pieces of chicken that had no flavor. When I asked Chang our server where was the veggies, he said they don't make it that way. The soup dumplings were not tasty at all. Horrible food.
