This place is such a gem inside The DeSoto. Both bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. They made fantastic cocktails (French 75 and Gold Rush). Highly recommend the BLT and Pastrami.

Francis, our bartender, was Amazing! He makes a great old fashion, and I ordered a specialty cocktail called Old Summer reckoning... delish. We had great conversations, and he was fun to be around. Definitely stop by for drinks. The ambiance is cool also. We will absolutely visit every time we are in town!

Located in the DeSoto Hotel, it's very disappointing. Limited ability to make anything off menu with a Low energy bartender. Otherwise it's average at best.

So I saw on their Instagram they had a special drink just for Pride Month.....I went to the bar and asked "for the pride drink" and the lady didn't know what I was talking about. I showed her the Instagram photo and she then told me she didn't know how to make it. She asked if I wanted the menu and I told her no I just came for this drink. I then contacted the company through instagram and I told them now disappointed I was since I drove out to their bar just for this drink just for them not to have it, they got to me rather quickly and apologized for the mix up and they would have the drink for me if I would go back. I did and the bartender said she would try her best. The drink isn't what they had in Instagram but it was still very pretty and good. I wouldn't go back unless they had another specialty drink but if I did I would make sure they actually had the drink l.

The cocktails are definitely the draw here and they are worth it. The sandwiches on the menu were excellent. Not an entree place. Nice patio facing Liberty St. And usually live music.

This was our first time and had a great experience. Starting with the terrific cocktails we had a short wait for a table for four. Our server was attentive and responsive. The apps and meals were delivered in a good amount of time, not too fast or too slow. We all enjoyed the meal, two of us had the shrimp and grits - amazing.Great experience.

Excellent, low-ley experience at Proof and Provision. The bar staff were very knowledgeable about their cocktail menu. The food was also excellent! Had the Thai Chicken Burger and the Caesar Salad. So glad that was the first time eating all day as the portions were more than adequate.

My husband and I decided to get away for a weekend and stayed at the DeSoto. It was our first visit to Savannah and we weren't sure where to eat. So, we decided to sit on the lovely patio at Edgar's Proof and Provisions. We ordered a charcuterie for an app. It was huge. They even added on a mushroom pâté the kitchen was trying out. It was delicious. Perfect for a warm afternoon. For dinner I had the peach fried chicken with macaroni. It was so delicious. The chicken had a little kick to it, and the macaroni was rich and countered the spices. There was live music, patio lights, and the location is the perfect place to watch the city go by. Very romantic.

Writing this review late so I don't remember what I got but what I do remember is it was fantastic food and pretty decent service although kinda slow but it was a busy night so I won't count against them too hard. Great water which is very important to me, and every bite of food I had was incredible. I would also like to add I had outside dining on a nice night after it was dark so the atmosphere was amazing. I did not go to the restroom while I was there but if it's anything like the rest of the restaurant then I would say they're nice.Final Rating: 4.2
