The Savannah Oysters here were so tasty! Good vibes, nice space, & Hunter is a 10/10 bartender

This crab quesaidea was uneatable, the oysters were not shucked properly and the potatoes and corn were cold? Decide for yourself.

Took my girl scout troop there last week. This was the worst meal we had in the 5 days we were in Savannah. Some girls ordered alfredo. The pasta was very mushy and the sauce was watery. Corn on the cob was extremely soggy and slimy. When i told our waitress about the soggy corn she said "it was prob in the steam table too long" Some of us got burgers. They were not the 8oz burgers advertised on the menu. The bun was perfect but the patty was about the size of a McDonald's hamburger patty. It was so dry that we had to dip it in Ketchup so we could swallow it. Fries were soggy and cold. When discussing highs and lows of the trip with our group of 11 everyone said this meal was their low. Very disappointing for our first meal on our trip. Thankfully, all our other meals were delicious.

Queuing for a table for 4 people for 15 minutes. A group of 8 people came after us and texted the server while queuing just behind us to pass before. They were immediately seated, and the server told us to wait 35 minutes more for a table. They didn't have any reservation. Not fair at all, we left.

The location was nice, the food was decent and the service could have been better for the price you pay for the food.

The year Covid started, my husband and I tried crab claws at Fiddlers. They were absolutely delicious! We came back today & they were detestable as well as the service. A female not of color with unsanitary dreadlocks told us that if we sat at the bar we would have no wait. As we were waiting at the bar, we noticed that everyone else had water. We weren't offered water as we waited, we weren't updated about our order but we were given the bill to pay before the food came out but I don't pay before I get food at restaurants. Today felt like a racial issue as we were the only patrons with lightly tanned skin and the only ones ignored. What's also interesting is that the female with the unsanitary dreadlocks looked like someone that I wouldn't want handling my food. She looked unclean. She gets an "F" for "foolish & for failure." As we were walking out she said in a very loud voice "Have a great day!" I didn't respond because it was already evaluated that she is pathetic & unhappy with herself so it was no need for me to educate her. She was awarded a tip of zero dollars ? and a verbal tip from a V.P. of Human Resources that her behavior today was putrid. Today, I wasn't giving even one Turkish lira. Our crab claws were very few and lacking flavor (except the taste of being freezer burned & odd. Picture also of the difference in quantity compared to a different patron. Same order price. Much less product. I don't like nor support companies that try to cheat or take advantage of certain patrons). The Oysters Rockefeller were repulsive as well. (I honestly feel that the oysters were missing because we only had the flavor of 1 oyster in the bunch. It tasted like loads of moldy cheese after eating 2) We didn't have time to go to request our money back. We both ended up with cramping stomachs and diarrhea. We won't ever return. I will be contacting the Health Department tomorrow and we will be dining at better restaurants like The Cotton Exchange on that strip. Their food is amazing and 5 star. I'm in disbelief that Fiddlers hasn't been sued for their seemingly racist service and their horrible food but never say never. Fiddlers obviously has many broken strings now. I should have read reviews first like I normally do but was so focused on getting delicious crab claws but ended up with crab claw sickness or Oysters Rockefeller sickness. I think I read where someone said that parasites were either on their oysters or something else. Needless to say, we won't ever be back. This place should be shut down and whoever supports this twofold unsanitary place in the employees and the food, shame on you as well. My last two thoughts: (1) I am happy that I found God because the way that unsanitary female yelled out to us upon leaving would have been an entirely different situation if God wasn't with me. (2) Spend your hard earned money at professional, nice, flavorful & kind mannered restaurants that serve fresh food and show appreciation for your choice to dine with them; otherwise, you are just throwing hard earned money out of the window. I think people who like this place and haven't gotten sick are so full of Wet Willie's that their stomachs can handle old, freezer burned or spoiled food and got close to the end of the street and stumbled into this joint to quench a hunger pain. Great restaurants in Savannah from a world traveler: Old Pinkhouse, The Cotton Exchange & Savannah Seafood Shack. The pictures below show how many crab claws we each got in comparison to a different patron. Since we both got sick, we now consider it a blessing. ??When we walked in and placed our order, the only difference was the skin I am in like Halle Berrys skin. Shame on you for hiring such crumbs Fiddler! Shame on you for acting racist! Shame on you for making us both ill! Shame on you for cheating us with a different portion size! (blessing in disguise though) Shame on you for your pathetic staff minus 2 males that were

(March 2024)We had the baby steam clams ($16), snow crabs ($50), and the ribeye with crab meat topping ($40). All just average, nothing special- too bad. If you order the ribeye, which I don’t recommend make sure you do it without the crab meat. It definitely overpowered the flavor of the steak.

Beautiful spot with wonderful snow crab. Everything else was overcooked. The server was very nice but had no idea how to wait a table. Forgot cutlery, then plates, then served us the wrong dish, and another server came and snatched it off our table angrily as we were eating it. Not the best experience. The view from the balcony is very nice.
