Good place to eat. The fried fish and shrimp were lightly breaded and tasty. The hushpuppies were a little dry but had decent flavor. The service was great and made for good experience. Will come back again when vacationing again in the area.

The shrimp and grits and mahi mahi were delicious. Our server was sweet but stretched too thin. The wine just wasn't right. We ordered a carafe of Chardonnay, but what we got either wasn't Chardonnay or it had gone bad. It took a long time to get it, so we just drank it. No seating was available inside, and there were no heaters in the outside seating we were in.

Read about Flying Fish and decided to try it. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very busy location most of the day. Fish camp styled restaurant and bar. Had the Mahi and shrimp basket with sides. Plenty of food, well prepared, awesome crab stew.Parking: Parking at the location. Between 5 and 9 pm, it's real busy. No reservations, so you may wait 15 minutes.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available. Everything is on one floor.

The Flying Fish is a hidden gem! It's definitely worth a stop, I highly recommend the fish chowder. Great service, friendly people, fun atmosphere, and awesome food!

Had Sunday lunch there, the food was good. I had the mahi breaded in chips, wife had the flounder. I think next time I'll skip the chip batter and go grilled. That being said it was good, just personal preference. Not sure what was up with the flounder, it was breaded and deep fried, but it had the skin on it. The fries were just crinkle fries from a frozen bag. Cooked good, delivered hot, but I'm thinking fresh cut steak fries when I'm paying their prices. Our server was pleasent but didn't come back to check on us much. She did know the menu and food, made recommendations, which was a plus, I would go again.
