It was a pleasure to visit this place. Our waiter Alex was awesome. He greeted us with love and kindness. He smiled and was very professional. The best customer service I had in quite some time. I will definitely be back to visit and ask for him as my waiter.

My better half and I visited Love's recently in mid February. We were on an extended weekend holiday and returned to Savannah for a few days. I lived there in 2014-2015 not far from Love's and had dinner there on occasionally. We arrived at Love's at 3:30 pm on a Saturday and were seated within a few minutes at the cozy table for two with a view of the lawn and the river. It was a good time to arrive. We ordered fried green tomatoes and oysters for appetizers, and our entrees were the stuffed flounder and the broiled salmon. Both entrees were wonderfully done, and consistent with what I recalled from my prior visits to the restaurant from nearly 10 years prior.Kudo's to Loves for a great experience and a great memory.

The food is great but Rachel made our experience the worst ever! Her service was horrible and she didn't care because we were a party of 8 so she was getting gratuity automatically. It took hours to get our food and gnats were everywhere. Do not use

This places mixed drinks was so delicious I would honestly go for just that. They're food is good but I'll have to give it another go I didn't really like what I ordered. Soooo I gave it another try and my favorite thing is the Mahi Mahi Alfredo it was delicious. My daughter had the crab stew and it was very good as well. The staff was super nice and the atmosphere here was pretty awesome too. Expect to spend a bit here but it's worth it! I would say order a sweet tea over soda because it tastes a little funny.

Parking: This questionnaire is useless. Nothing opens up. There is no space for a critique.

I've been to lovers twice, and both times, I was not diatonic l disappointed. The food and service were excellent. They're not skimpy with the food. Expect a wait time, because the place is always packed. But it's worth the wait.

Big disappointment. We visited the restaurant last night and arrived at 7pm. There were 7 of us so the wait was estimated to be 30-40 minutes. After we were seated our drink orders were taken pretty quickly. Then in an acceptable amount of time our waitress came to take our order. After that it went downhill. Aside from the occasional spiders that fell from the ceiling, and the very bright/hot heat lamps that came on, it took 1 hour to get our appetizers and to give you an idea of the wait, our food came out at 9:30pm (the restaurant closes at 9). We saw staff cleaning and taking out large bags of trash while waiting for our food. Now, the most important part---the food--- it was very disappointing and definitely not worth the wait, nor the $250 our table spent. I had the fried flounder and it tasted like left overs. It was not hot, not crispy, just dry. My kids had chicken fingers and their tenders came out dry and were left uneaten. My sides were hard and cold (okra and yellow grits). I am from Florida so I know what good seafood tastes like and this was not it. Realizing this was not the waitress' fault, we tipped her the standard 15%. However we will not be back. Definitely overrated and over priced.

The food is always great. Service's sometimes not so good! We've been here several times, and always seems like it takes forever to get out order taken. Then takes a long time to get our food. And generally takes a very long time to get a bill. Usually 20+ minutes.

We really enjoy Love’s! The salmon is my go- to. It’s delicious and flavorful! And the grits were also great. You get a very nice portion size for what you pay for. My husband really enjoys the shrimp. The views of the river are great too. Service was wonderful as well.

For all the hype I was not impressed. Service was awful, saw our waitress maybe 4 times. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks and when our food came out we saw her once passing by and she ask how it was as she was rushing to get inside to her other tables. I asked 3 times for our check and she brought it with an attitude and I asked to see the manager and that never happened. I understand busy, I’ve been a waitress. However, for the money we spent we had terrible service and mediocre food. My best advice is you probably have to sit inside for decent service. I don’t normally leave reviews, if a manager would have came to our table when requested I wouldn’t be leaving this one.

Nestled waterside in a beautiful woden building, Love’s stands out as some of the best southern seafood in the world. Its classic southern style shines through its décore so you can feel the history of the restaurant thought the wonderful wooden windows. The food was fresh, flavorful, and phenomenal. I suggest the flakey catfish filet and the greatest gator in Georgia. Our server Alex was polite and upstanding. I could not recommend Love’s any more and will definitely be coming back soon!

Waited 50 minutes for a table on a busy Saturday night. Got seated and waited 25 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Waited another 10 for water and sodas. Appetizer arrived with no silverware. We were starving so we ate it with our fingers. Meal arrived with ice cold sides. Shrimp dinners were very tasty and hot. No drink refills. Never saw a manager nor anyone who looked like supervision. Not worth complaining nor will we return.

The GA white shrimp were the best we have ever had. The food was fresh and came quick! Our kids loved the crayons and paper table cloths they could color on. Best seafood in the area.
