This place is a must stop. The food was so delicious. Worth the wait!!!There were over 20 dishes on the table and you eat family style. Get there early before the line gets long. It's cash only place, there is an ATM inside and the flat rate to eat was $30. I left completely stuffed and so satisfied.Vegetarian options: Max and cheese, potatoe salad, corn bread, black eye peas, string beans, two different kinds of potatoes, candy yams and pasta dishes.

The staff was very friendly and hospitable. This place is not worth the trip or the hype. Knowing there would be a line, we waited for a little over an hour. We were seated at a table where they dishes were served family style. The food wasn’t hot or anything special. Within 15 minutes the dessert was being served. Two of the 3 of were ill the rest of the day. There are much better places in Savannah. Bless your heart Mrs. Wilkes

This has been by far our best dining experience in Savannah!!! The food was DELICIOUS! The staff is super friendly and personable. Was so much fun meeting people from different parts of the country. It’s a must if you are in the area. Outside Erin gave up so much interesting history while we waited to be seated. And Marcia was the absolute sweetest. They treat everyone like family.

The staff is delightfully hospitable and serious about the food they serve.The biscuits and cornbread are out of this world. Save room for dessert, how is that ever possible? But do it!It's definitely worth the wait. Bring your cash (only) and enjoy the abundance of southern flavors.
