We really loved the restaurant, food, service and drinks. Rhet was our server and was very knowledgeable and personable. We had the Octopus, Tarte Flambee, Gnocchi and Southern Schnitzel. We highly recommend all of them, especially the Charred Octopus. Our server Rhet did a Fantastic job and was very knowledgeable and personable. The food was So Delicious, especially the Charred Octopus and Southern Schnitzel. The bartenders did a great job with our drinks. It was my Retirement Celebration with my wife. Thank you and your staff for making it a Great Celebration and Memory.

My wife rated this place two stars and the reason? A server named Phil who promised in his introduction “excellent service” and then disappeared like mist in the morning. One minute he was there and the next he was gone. After promising us excellent service, he went on to say the restaurant had great food and even better cocktails. Given, Repeal has a reputation for cocktails, but what was very disappointing was the treatment we received when we did not order any $15 cocktails that drive the ticket higher. It’s always sad when the treatment of the guest is predicated on whether or not alcohol is ordered, but that was definitely the case. After taking our order, another server brought the ice tea (in a highball glass) and a sparkling water for my wife (again, in a highball glass). The glass was 3/4 full of pellet ice so it took no time at all for us to drain our glasses dry. We’d just spent 7 hours on the road driving from NC and we were ready to enjoy a relaxing, pleasant dinner. We were given a very slender and tall glass of water that was not very good (weird taste). My wife said she would have been able to better enjoy the food, which was delivered by, yet again, another server, if she’d had more sparkling water to accompany it. There’s nothing worse than running out of a drink during the meal and never being offered a refill. As a former server, that is a just never acceptable. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:30ish and the place was in no way bustling or slammed. They had more people seated at the bar, but there were several empty banquettes. Phil did pass by to ask how we liked the food about two bites after our plate being delivered, but, as I mentioned - never saw him again until he showed up with the check. When he stopped at table after the plates had been delivered, he made a comment that was not only strange, but offensive. He said “I told the kitchen to rush the order because these two look like they’re going to start gnawing on each other.” If I had it to do over, I would address that comment directly. That was such a bizarre comment, but my wife was actually embarrassed by it. I’m still not sure what that was even supposed to mean because we were enjoying a conversation and taking in the ambiance whilst waiting for our dinner. Another issue I had with the experience was the fact that I indicated we were celebrating my wife’s birthday when I made the reservation. There was never a greeting, a salutation - no happy birthday. Nothing. I hated that this was the way we kicked off our vacation in Savannah.I will say this, the food we ordered was great. We both had the Southern Schnitzel and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The mustard spätzel, sauerkraut, and collard greens were all fantastic - especially the collards. The food was delicious, but all that can be overshadowed by poor, inattentive, lazy service. That’s what Phil gave us. Again, I’ve waited tables for years before and it’s just the cardinal sin to let a guest’s glass get dry and unfilled. I don’t care how busy I was as a server, I would always ask another server to catch my refill if I was in the weeds, but there’s no way Phil was in the weeds. It just wasn’t that busy. It was an actually a very casual, relaxed atmosphere there and the decor was super cozy and intimate. Sadly, this experience soured us on this place and we won’t be back. There are too many great restaurants in Savannah with top notch service!

WOW!!! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Repeal 33!! Found it on TikTok and was not disappointed. We had a 6pm reservation and got there about 45 minutes early to have a happy hour drink at the bar!! To our surprise, they also had oysters on the half shell for $1 each and they were some of the best oysters I’ve had!! Wonderfully crafted cocktails!! We had the Gnocchi, Scallops, and Shrimp & Grits and everything was amazing!! Our server Antoinette was so attentive and knowledgable about all the food and cocktails and it was such an amazing dining experience!!

What a fantastic experience. Our first time in Savannah and this place exceeded our expectations in every way. The decor is really well thought out and tasteful. We had a hard time deciding on the menu since there were so many appealing choices. We ended up with the sourdough (which I thought rivaled my own homemade version), street corn (authentic on the cob) and the beef tartare. All had such great flavor. We opted for the fish of the day and got a piece of perfectly cooked halibut. We also got a pork schnitzel with the spatzele and house sauerkraut. Perfectly fried. Our server, Antoinette was a pleasure and we had an engaging conversation with a few of the other staff. I also really appreciated the mocktails options and the Touch of Crey is something I’m going to try to recreate at home. Would highly recommend!

Cozy environment and definitely a must for reservations on the weekends. The drinks are fantastic but $$$. The food is just lacking though. We tried three appetizers (Charred wings, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, and the street corn) but I felt like the flavor could have been more. We all ordered an entree (two had pork chops and one had the saffron) and we all felt the same way. Like there just wasn't that much flavor and it should have been more prominent in the dishes. The food was expensive for what was given. Either they are short staffed or service is just slow. It took 20 minutes to be given water and service from the waitstaff and everything else was just as slow. I probably wouldn't go again but also encourage people to try it if they're interested. One thing to note - the staff made it clear to us that they weren't family friendly. There were 3 tables with young kids near us and it was just a bizarre comment to make.

Nice aesthetic. 5/10 Food. 9/10 Drinks. The service was definitely a 10/10. Everyone was so pleasant and attentive.

Wow, what a swanky place. Like a Prohibition-Era eatery with a huge bar. The food is top notch and the drinks from the bar amazing. A reservation is a must. The staff are amazing as well.

100/100Try everything! You will not be disappointed!!Brussel sprouts are amazing, zingy, crunchy and out of this world. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Ribeye was tender and had everything you would want in a steak. Fresh catch of the day, they're on to something with the puree mixed with the Halibut.Repeal 33 is one of my favorites in Savannah that isn't completely in the thick tourist area but just a short walk away from it, so you can have best of both worlds.Service was impeccable, fast and fun!

We had the best meal of our recent visit to Savannah here. We ordered the catch of the day, which to our delight was halibut. Cooked to perfection and delicious. Dessert was a chocolate torte which was outstanding. We were with a large group, and the service was excellent. People in our group were still raving about our meals and Repeal 33 days later. When we return to Savannah we will definitely return to this restaurant!

I came here in 2022 and had a very rude female bar tender, although the food was good. In any case the experience kept me from returning. Two years later I decided to give it a second chance and visited with my husband the other night; we had a much different experience. Our server, Charlie, was one of the best servers I've ever had and the food was impeccable. Definitely coming back when we visit Savannah again!

Anyone who likes meat is in good hands here. The restaurant is a bit old but otherwise everything is quite good.

The mussels appetizer was large enough to be an entree. They were served in a very tasty broth that deserves additional sourdough bread (also conveniently offered as a starter). The "southern schnitzel" was an innovative dish...especially if you're a fan of collard greens. Service was professionally attentive and, overall, this was an excellent value.
