Had a terrible experience last night with the girl working the register. I love the food here, and am aware that they can sell out often. So I called ahead and asked if they had sold out of anything. The girl replies "so you'd like chicken sliders?" I said "what? Did you even hear my question?" She says "lol no, what'd you ask?" Dummy tells me nothing is sold out. I ask "anything almost sold out? " she says "we're good".So we drive all the way over, and sure enough they are SOLD OUT of the only 2 things we wanted to order!! Naturally we were pissed, but decided to stay. We order plates and get the receipt and see an unexpected surcharge for sides. It's supposed to be included so I ask dummy what the charge is. She's just playing on her phone and says "ya I don't know, I have no idea" and goes back to her phone. I could not believe how indifferent this girl was, we were so angry.Thankfully we flagged down the other lady who removed the charge. Apparently certain sides have an upcharge, but nowhere in the restaurant does it say that, and dummy didn't tell us upon ordering.It's hard to want to ever go back again after this.

This burger was a slam dunk and the sweet potato fries were thick and succulent!! Mac n Cheese was a little mushy but I feel like Mac n cheese style is subjective and it was tasty nevertheless. I live in the neighborhood and I definitely will start eating here more!!

Good food, lower smoke flavor but smooth in taste. Bottles of sauce on the table. They have an easy menu board and do list what items they run out of for the evening. There are tables inside, outside and a good takeout service. Will definitely return and would recommend to anyone who likes BBQ. There's a great selection of things to try.

Stopped in on a recommendation from our daughter. So glad we did. We ordered the Hog Sampler which gave you a portion of all their meats, two sides, and two slices of Texas toast. All the meat was nice and tender and had a great smoked flavor. The brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs was very tasty. The baked beans have a nice flavor, however, was too much meat and very little beans. The macaroni and cheese were not that good, noodles way over cooked. Potato salad wasn't bad. The building is small however, does provide outside seating . Service was provided with a welcoming friendly smile. Even though a few of the sides were not to my liking the meat definitely was. We will be back.

Great BBQ joint….good food and nice folks. Prices are reasonable. Chicken was awesome, the smoked sausage, but their bbq beans are as good or better than any we have ever had, and that says something from a couple KC people where BBQ is king.
