Definitely has the local joint vibe. The decor here is old and needs repair. The food is regular home cooking nothing gourmet. They have recently cut back on the salt which for me is a good thing.

The lady with the braids that was ringing us up, she was not very friendly, but the lady that was serving the food with the Locs . She was very nice and greeted us upon arrival. For starters the sides they were all canned sides, so I did not really care for that too much the meat I had the turkey wing it was OK.The portions are very small. My husband got the fried chicken. They gave him two baby pieces. The macaroni and cheese is dry but not bad. Candy yams are too wet and straight out of the can. peach cobbler was mid but it was OK. my honest opinion is I would not return

My hamburger steak was not cooked all the way thru, it was red inside and the young man waiting on me was more interested in his cell phone than finishing my order!!? Highly disappointed in this place, the original Sister's was actually in Garden City, when I came to visit Savannah before..

Really good food!! Reasonable prices. Two people can each get a plateful of food and a drink for around $20 total.

This place was featured on diners, drive in and dives show so we had to go while in the area. My husband and I both had the smothered pork chops which came with 3 sides. Hubby got the mac n cheese, green beans and red rice. I got a double order of green beans and red rice. Food was good! And you get a lot! Prices were very reasonable. Atmosphere is ok, nothing fancy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in Savannah again.Parking: Plenty of spaces.

The best service, the best Southern food I've had in the south. They were nice and dealt with any issues I had completely satisfied . A must stop in Savannah for food. The peach cobbler itself took me to another world It was so good

DO NOT GO HERE! TV IS A LIE!We finished our meals because we wanted to support a black business and we literally had not eaten anything since the day before. So, this was our breakfast and lunch.Oh my!.. how disappointing the whole experience was. First, we came in and it was at least 5 minutes before a young lady came out with a very unfriendly demeanor. Next, the selection of food was very unappealing. The buffet containers were mostly less than half filled and it looked like it at been sitting for a while. As I suspected the food was not even hot...it was lukewarm. We all sat down and ate very mediocre food in a very unclean dining room. There were dirty tables, overflowing trash can, and stacks of dirty dishes! We stayed because we knew we would never be back and wanted to just support a black owned business while in town.I feel really disappointed this place is representing black owned businesses in this area. It unfortunately adds to the stereotype that a black owned restaurant lacks quality.Do better Sisters of the New South!

I recently have been diagnosed as gluten intolerance, so it’s been very difficult for me to have regular meals, and I’ve been eating so many salads, I can’t have anything I want anymore. Tonight I decided to do a cheat night, and buy myself a fried chicken dinner with Mac n cheese, yams and tomatoes and okra. The pieces of chicken tasted like they had been frying all day in the window, they were measley, the yams was like soup, the macaroni didn’t even squish, it was more like noodles sprinkled with shredded cheese, okra and tomatoes taste like glory canned veggies. I am super underwhelmed, disappointed and I definitely won’t do this again.
