I had ordered the blackened catfish with sweet potato/ cheese grits. I had banana pudding for dessert. The blacken catfish portion was small. $18.50 for the blackened catfish !The fish was not particularly flavorable either. I got a piece of a sweet potato. It had tasted okay. The cheese grits were half way decent. The biscuit was outstanding! The banana pudding was great also.

We stopped eating at Seeet Potatoes because the restaurant wasn't being kept up with when it comes to food quality and cleanliness. Land scrapping was ignored and a pressure washer would make a hugh difference. The filthy concrete floor just outside the front door would be a good start. It also desperately needed to be repainted on the inside. So when we heard the restaurant had new owners we decided to give it a new try. Started with the garlic pickles that evidently had not been marinated long enough. Did not have that garlic flavor just a pickle which the table next to us agreed. My wife ordered the fish that she enjoyed. The biscuit was soft and fresh an improvement over the past when so often they came to the table hard. The cheeseburger and home cut fries that had been added as a new side item that I was looking forward to just wasn't going to happen. Ordered it medium came thick, but well done. Sent it back and obviously it was not a priority to get corrected quickly. Twenty minutes later after my wife had finished her meal my burger arrives thin and once again well done almost to the point of burnt. The home cut fries are not cut inhouse as the waiter admitted they come frozen off the back of a food truck. I sent it back to to the kitchen leaving the restaurant with no dinner and the owner/manager oblivious to the fact there was ever a problem. Much more training is needed in the kitchen and with the servers. The biggest shame is that this restaurant has huge potential but it will not happen with my money.

The plate I had well the salmon was absolutely outstanding however the rice was Bland tasteless I would have much preferred something like a brown rice with some flavor. The greens have a wonderful taste. Was the food good? It was however I don't think it was worth the price just my opinion. However I guess you know things have been getting more expensive in restaurants. All in all would I eat here again? Maybe probably not. I will say this the Ambiance and the waiters were nice and the place is very beautiful.

Maybe it's just what I ordered because I heard certain dishes were good. My salmon was okay, overcooked though. The lemon collards were ?. I did not like! The sign said the best banana pudding voted by man vs food...umm...no sir! It was pretty, FELT good in my mouth but the taste...a definite no! And they put nuts on top! Why?? I'm a nut girl, but not in my pudding! The customer service was awesome, and I was greeted with a warm welcome. I probably will go back, because I heard certain items were good, we'll see. I'm pescatarian, so I normally don't have many choices for meats at certain restaurants. The downside. I paid $28 plus tip for what you see pictured (banana pudding not pictured). ?

We were pretty disappointed. The fried catfish with tartar sauce and sweet potato fries were good. Cornbread was good, but I’m not usually a fan of cornbread. We were disappointed with everything else: peach glazed BBQ chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens, cucumbers, and even the banana pudding. The biggest complaint was lack of flavor. The banana pudding was ok, but definitely not the best in the world. It was 75% whipped cream (which tasted good), with 25% banana slices and cookie. I don’t think the cookies were homemade, either. We thought it was odd when the table next to us was told they ran out of catfish and chicken breast. At 6:15pm? The waiter told them that chicken tenders would be used instead of breast and they’d have practically the same taste. What?Service was pretty unorganized. We waited 15 minutes after ordering banana pudding for the waiter to ask if we wanted our bill… we reminded him of our dessert and he was surprised no one brought it to us. It was rushed out with plastic spoons. It was not busy, either. The prices were pretty high for what we received. We wouldn’t come back.

Found this place about 3 months ago and was so excited to find it! Ate it 3 times in one week. Then we ordered it today for lunch and it has changed. The Lima beans were thicker than mashed potatoes. The biscuits were hockey pucks. My boss said it was the worst meals he has had and he eats anything. Unfortunately, everyone at my table today, won’t be ordering again.
