Food was absolutely incredible. I normally wouldn't willingly reserve a table at a hotel's restaurant, as it seems like a last resort for tired travelers. But as a Savannah local, this restaurant is one of the best meals I have had here! The service was exceptional. Every single thing we had was delicious, from the bourbon drinks to the side of carrots. My husband and I talked about the carrots for 10 minutes, trying to figure out if we could make them at home. Long story short, we are just going to come back and order them again!

Trout and the mashed potatoes were superb! Very fresh! Becky, our waitress, was great! Nice atmosphere! Service was great! Very enjoyable dinner! Butter lettuce salad light and delicious. Only 4 stars because desert menu needs an oomph.

Be warned. The great remarks on here are written by those who don’t know what good food is and by those who were too drunk to taste how bland the food is. Save your time and your money. You are better off giving your business to Zunzies, which is conveniently next door to this place. (Order the GodFather Sandwich and thank me later)To start. I ordered the onion soup. I wish I were exaggerating when I say It was more cheese than soup. I’d say it was closer to a macaroni and cheese than it was a soup. The scallop appetizer was undercooked. My mom and I shared the mushroom pasta. The noodles were also undercooked. We ordered dessert hoping this would be a different experience. Just like the google reviews, the menu descriptions are misleading. We got the Bombe Alaska and Paris Brest. The Bombe Alaska is bizarre. What is described on their menu is better in theory than it is in execution. They pour alcohol over the merengue and light it on fire to “bake” it. It’s cool to watch but sadly my dessert was overpowered by the taste of alcohol. The Paris Brest is described as a “blackberry mousse, coconut tuile, chai crumb, berry medley.” What was plated was an oat bagel with blackberry jam and a pink colored powder. No mousse. I nearly sent it back thinking we received the wrong dessert. Nothing on that plate was as described. Im still perplexed. In fact, I regret not taking pictures of our food. That alone would suffice as proof of how lackluster this food, that is evidently prepared by chefs, is. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. My final note. I have nothing ill to say about our waitress. She did her job. It’s a beautiful and atmospheric restaurant. Get drunk and you’ll enjoy it like the rest of these reviews. I do, however, advise the owner of this establishment to consider making some changes. Either serve the fine dining food prepared by the chefs you advertise or reword your menu to depict the truth.

This place is great for lunch, dinner, special occasions, or anything in between. The service was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and the atmosphere was laid back. The food tasted as good as it looks!!

If I could afford to dine here regularly, I would. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for a classy place to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere is elegant, but relaxed. The food is expensive, be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Oh, but the food is worth that penny! I got the Lobster Pasta and it was to die for. One of us wasn't drinking, but the mocktails and cocktails by the bar were excellent. We visited during the weekend of St. Patrick's Day and there was some excellent live music. I'm not certain if live music is a regular occurrence at the restaurant or if it was just as a special occasion, so keep that in mind. Our server was also excellent and she even gave us some recommendations for local dessert places, as we wanted to explore more of Savannah.tl;dr10/10 would recommend, everything was perfect!Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome, but it is a more upscale place, so bear that in mind for kids depending on maturity/age.

Went on Christmas Day. They were understaffed and drinks came after the food. Basically an all around disaster. I felt sorry for them. I may try again but I doubt it. Hate to be negative but if the shoe fits.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful and delicious meal, and superb service. Stopped by on a walk for brunch had the Brie with apples and avocado toast. Great experience. They were fully booked for brunch but there is seating, tables, next to bar and main dining that reservations aren't required for.

We were very excited to try this restaurant as we are staying at the Perry Lane hotel. The hotel has been phenomenal- however this restaurant was disappointing to say the least. The food was flavorless and over priced for what you get. We ordered the tartar and it was more Dijon than it was beef. We also ordered the clams and I’ve never had such bland clams before. The wine was great and our server was very nice. The food was definitely 1 star though. Disappointing.

My friends and I and stopped in for a bite after a show at the Savannah Theater. We were greeted and seated promptly and waited on by a very friendly server. Lesson learned... Any restaurant attached to a hotel comes at a premium. First, the menu it seems as if it is all over the place with limited offerings. For example. Most restaurants offer bread as part of the meal...not here! You have to pay $12.00 for bread. At that price you think you would be getting enough for the table to share. Wrong, what you get is 2 small "dinner rolls" attached together to look like a loaf of bread. As for dinner, we opted for the $25.00 cheeseburger and fries.... The burger and fries were cooked to our liking (it should be for that price) except that the bun was soaked in what I believe was butter or oil. Making for some very sloppy eating. First impressions, you feel like you have been taken advantage of price wise, which in this case will not bring us back.

The food is bland and not seasoned well. The Brie appetizer didn't have bold flavors at all. It tasted fine but didn't dazzle me for the price. My husband ordered the Butter Pecan Old Fashioned. It tasted like an Old Fashion with random pecans. $18 for a drink in Savannah is way too much given that there was nothing special about it. The servers and chef were kind. The staff could benefit from more training — picking up plates when they're closed, asking if another drink is desired, ensuring guests have silverware, etc.

Our first time eating here and it will now go on our list of great places in Savannah. So many items on the menu looked delicious and we wished we could've tried more of them. The burger and tuna crudo were especially yummy. 3 different soups made from scratch but we only ordered the onion soup which was very flavorful...will have to try the others on our next visit. Only downside is the limited parking in the area, but luckily we found a spot a couple blocks away next to the cemetery after circling for a bit.

4.5, solid experience Food: Wonderful experience, we ordered Tuna crudo, Mushroom, lobster spaghetti, foie gras and sapelo clams. All came out swiftly, with a perfect temperature. Seasoned delicately and taste pleasantly. Foie gras is paired with interesting condiments, in a positive way. Mushroom is just straight up hearty and delicious, meaty and savory. 10/10 Service: Server is knowledgeable, caring and patient. However the restaurant seems a little short-staffed so our server is beyond occupied. Solid service experience but not top notch, like getting our empty plates tended swiftly. Drink: My date and i ordered the currant affair & the Marco polo. Both agreed the currant affair is better. Now are the cocktails worth $18 each? which is equal to a high-profile bar in Manhattan, i dont think so. Desserts: Honey Gateau is delicious, great balance between nuttiness from chestnut and tartness from the red currant jam & sorbet. and my date loved her chocolate mousse/cake. 10/10 Ambience: A bit on the cold side, deco gives strong arboretum feeling which is something we adored. Will be back for the chef's tasting menu. Food is exciting and delicious.

Shrimp and bread appetizers were good although bread was really small for the price. For entrees, pork, duck and lobster pasta were not very good, pork and duck were not cooked well and strange vegetable side not prepared well. Desserts, especially sticky toffee pudding were excellent. Service was great, but this place was somewhat slow on a Friday night for good reason, as entrees were not remotely as good as in the past.

I’ve been to The Emporium in many different occasions and everything went well but the last time I went there the server had a nasty attitude, not nice at all.. very sad because it’s a nice place but his attitude ruined the
