I'm so sad to see this place has closed. I never got around to reviewing it but feel the need to share the great pics of the fantastic vegetarian dinner I had here in November. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Stopped in for dinner as we love to try new places. We ordered the pimento cheese app for $9 (it was fantastic!!), fried chicken for $20, two sides at $10 each, my wife had a glass of wine for $9, and we both ordered sweet tea at $5 each. We we're both shocked at the price for tea but it is what it is. What they failed to mention was the tea was $5 PER GLASS OF TEA. The menu doesn't mention this nor did our waitress. As the glass got low she would ask "you you like another tea?" Sure! We received our bill and are shocked to see that we racked up $25 IN SWEET TEA!! We paid more for tea tonight than my wife paid for wine!! We aren't talking fancy teas and such....a simple glass of sweet tea that is $3 with unlimited refills at EVERY other restaurant in Savannah. We asked the waitress about it and she said sorry she didn't mention it and that she would have her manager adjust it. Swipes my card for the full amount, never even approaches anyone else after leaving the table, and brings the card and receipt back to us. I said "did you have your manager adjust this?" and she walked away from our table and never even turned around or acknowledged that I had asked a question. We will not be back. We paid more for tea for two adults than we did the main entree and wine!

Just by passing by this place we knew that we have to come back for brunch. The place looks beautiful, bright and welcoming. Nice verity of dishes including vegan options. I loved their plates and cups, nice eye for every little detail. The food was fresh and good, service was nice and polite. Atmosphere was great.

Happy to walk in & be seated early on a Friday evening without reservations, hungry for comfort food. Lively atmosphere, enhanced as the cozy place filled up. Marinated tomatoes were an outstanding app. Fish & chips (duck fries) and sauces were very satisfying. Also ordered the highly anticipated fried chicken. Our attentive waiter gave us fair notice that the chicken would be unaccompanied. That's a pity, for the price it should have included at least one side. Tender pollo, nicely breaded & seasoned.

We felt so lucky to get a reservation here! The catch of the day was made PERFECTLY and with seasonal beans/vegetables — the kale salad was perfection, the oysters were cold and the ambiance was a perfect blend of new and old school. A MUST VISIT!

Very surprised! Fresh locally sourced food ! The burger was so yummy and not greasy cooked to perfection! Great jammy yolk in the scotch egg ! Pimento chesse had a perfect spice. The Bonafee pie was the perfect desert on top ! 100% would recommend also great mix of vegetarian options !

We decided on a whim to stop in for dinner here tonight and couldn’t have been happier. Ordered six appetizers, six entrees and desserts and there was not one thing we didn’t love. The cocktails were also perfect as was the charming service. Don’t miss the homemade jelly donuts! We can’t wait to go back!

The food was great. We had the sweet potato curry and sped fish sandwich. Oysters were also very good - go for the happy hour specials.

This was their 1st brunch, so a few things were off. The eggs we ordered never came out liked we asked for. The stuffed hash browns were ok, nothing special. Dog friendly, great service.

We didn't have reservations and we had a party of eight but they were able to seat us all right away. My cheeseburger was the best I've had in a long time. Two of the others had the fried chicken and they too, thought their food delicious because the chicken was so moist. Two others had the tomato salad and they commented on how well the bread that came with their salads complimented the taste of the tomatoes. I would highly recommend this place because the food was delicious!

I actually researched a ton of food places before visiting Savannah and The Fat Radish never came up for me, but we passed by it one of the nights and I looked at the menu and it seemed like it might be good. There was one night we didn't have a dinner planned and this one is really close to our dessert reservation we had at Better Than Sex (also amazing, by the way!). And omg I think The Fat Radish was my favorite meal our whole trip!! They were severely understaffed so we had to sit at the bar to get served, even though over half the tables were empty. They only had one server for the dining area and then the bartender for the bar. Regardless, he was very attentive and quick. They actually had a squash special on the menu that day which sounded amazing, but the veggie burger also sounded amazing and I was really feeling a burger and fries. And I have no regrets!! But after tasting how great it was, I kind of wish I could have gone back another day for the squash! Anyway, I got the veggie burger and added pimento cheese to it and then got a side of their harissa aioli for the fries. The pimento cheese made my burger very hard to hold and it fell apart pretty quickly (or maybe it was the patty that would have fallen apart easily regardless). So I ended up eating it with utensils, but it was hands down one of the top veggie burgers I've ever had! The red pepper relish on the bun was also good and I have no idea how it'd taste without pimento or if I'd rave about it this much, so if you like and can eat cheese, ask for the pimento for sure! The seasoning on the fries was also tasty. I'm a huge fan of seasoned fries and they make their own seasoning called O.M.G., but I have no idea what's in it. The harissa aioli was okay, but I definitely still ate it all up with the fries. If I were to visit Savannah again, I would definitely make an effort to eat here again!

Visited w friends last week. Located at corner MLK & W Congress St. Typical Savannah parking. Lucked out, got spot near door on 2nd circle of block.Repurposed, Old District bldg. High ceilings, airy, big windows. Very pleasant decor and ambience. Promptly greeted. Server was very pleasant. Was quickly on board w drinks and giving us time to chat & review menu.Had a Sazerac on the Beach as cocktail. Used pineapple rum instead of rye or bourbon. Great take on old New Orleans classic. Highly recommended.Menu was fun, see photos. Had butter beans w wilted greens and feta. Awesome, plenty to share. Also got a wedge salad. Was expecting usual quarter head of iceberg lettuce. Instead was 2 hearts of charred romaine. Great twist. Was huge and delicious.I had fish & chips. Batter very light, not a beer batter. Very tasty, fish very light and flaky. Not strong or fishy. Fries were great, not a traditional English “chip.”The wife had swordfish, was a prix fixe special. She said was very good, don’t recall the topping. Came with sautéed okra w onion crisps as appetizer. Was excellent, plenty to share.Overall, a lovely evening. Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Highly recommended. We’ll visit again.
