Love this place, highly recommend! The salad are my most favorite. My husband loves the paninis. My only complaint I have is that there is always a decent wait for the food but I believe they are short staffed. However, the food is always so delicious and spot on so it is absolutely worth the wait!!!

The Mediterranean Panini with chips and an Earl Grey Arnold Palmer has been my go-to order here for like 15 years! I think about it when I'm away and always eat here for lunch at least once when visiting Savannah.

My husband and I ordered Panini's and a cup of chili. I had Greek Asparagus and he had the Special of the day. One of the best Panini's either of us have had. The savory flavors of the chili and sandwiches blended together wonderfully. The service was impeccable, friendly and I loved the tastefully kitschy decor. We ate outside in the sun and our dog had a ball! Very dog friendly. Will be back.

Tried out Starland Cafe today and I would highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area. The menu selection is excellent and ranges from soups and salads to paninis. The Cuban panini & the Italian sausage kale soup are 10/10. Seating is limited and the wait time was roughly 30-45 minutes, but it was well worth it!

My favorite place for lunch in Savannah. They are open 11-3, M-F, so make a point of setting aside the time to visit this cafe set up in a historic home in Starland. Everything is delicious and fresh, and the portions are huge. Don’t miss the CBG, Starzanella Salad, and the Goat Bomb. Whenever I’m at SC, I drink altogether too many Earl Gray ice tea with a lemonade topper. Always friendly & accommodating service too. Starland Cafe has my highest recommendation.Vegetarian options: There are soup, salad, and sandwich options for vegetarians.Parking: You should be able to find street parking on the same block as the Starland Cafe. There is plenty of turnover of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu of Cheesy Moo (grilled cheese) or Oinky Moo (ham & cheese).Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs in and out of the restaurant, so guest in wheelchairs will need to eat outside on the patio.

A bit overpriced and the setup is kind of odd (get your drinks first, sit down, get back up to order, THEN you're waited on?) but the food was delicious, everyone is friendly, and the atmosphere of the old home is nice!

I visited Starland Cafe for the first time today and I was not disappointed! I've been trying to get there for a long time, but I work during the week. I was greeted upon entering by Baxter, he gave me a menu and advised that I could make myself comfortable. I told him that I wanted to start out with the Goat Bomb. Baxter placed my order, took my payment and gave me a number for my order. I went outside to sit on the porch, and I was brought napkins and a spoon. I loved the ambiance of Starland, sitting on the porch enjoying the fresh air and reading. My food arrived; the Goat Bomb is a wedge of goat cheese dropped in tomato Thai soup served with grilled ciabatta bread. The warmth of the soup melted the goat cheese into creamy goodness! The ciabatta points were toasted to perfection! The flavor, texture and presentation were great! The servers were very attentive! I enjoyed my experience and wished i could have hang out a little longer! I'm looking forward to going back and trying the Kitchen Sink Salad!

The owners of this restaurant had the dog park shut down in starlandia. They would also cook food in their home kitchen and walk it across the street to the restaurant. I asked for water for my dog since the water was out at the park, as a paying customer they refused. Terrible human beings, I never bothered going back. I will not support terrible human beings.

Fresh delicious food. Not a fast food restaurant. Thoughtfully prepared and fresh to order. The kitchen sink and Pa's pimento with tomato are always a favorite. Share a goat bomb with a friend and make it a special treat. Fun local owned with a spirit of neighborhood service. Over 22 years in business and going strong. A definite Savannah jewel. Check it out. There is sometimes a wait however the staff is always very helpful and will quickly let you know the expected service times. They have always exceeded the tie estimates in my experience. A local great spot and tradition. For sure. Yum !
