Had the tater tots, but that was not the highlight! The cocktails were amazing and the bartender said she created them!!

I’m staying at the hotel that this restaurant is connected too for work so it was so easy for me to stop after work and grab a bite to eat. The first time I stopped by I was taking a burger to go and I’m guessing the manager is the one seated in the corner and she was there to training the guy at the bar. He was pretty nice and gave me recommendations on the drinks. The second time is what’s making me write this review. The server (black curly hair women) was so rude for no reason??? I have no idea what I did to make her treat me like that. I felt like she didn’t want to take my order and since I’m on a business trip I need an itemized bill so I asked her if she could get me the receipt that has the tip printed on the receipt. Please tell me why this was such a hard thing to do? She told me 3 times no and I can just take the customer copy and just write the tip on that one. Nicely, I had to tell her 3 times that my job doesn’t take it like that. I don’t think I have ever had to argue with a server so much about wanting to tip ?? I regret just not tipping and just taking the receipt since it was so hard for her to get me a receipt with the full amount on it. She finally said “No we’re not going to do that, we have to keep it” and I told her “but I did it last time I came” she said “OKAY” snatched up the papers and walked away. She came back 30 seconds later with it. The service was so bad. The food isn’t that great either, there are way better places to eat around the town. I was just going for the convenience but now I’ll rather walk 15 minutes around town in my heels than go there again :/

My wife and I both ordered grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, and sweet tea. It was outstanding! It took just a few minutes to get our meal after ordering. Megan was our waitress, and she was very polite and prompt.

I LOVE this place!!! I come to Savannah often for work and always stay at Spring Hill Suites, not only for the location, but for Toasted Barrel. The food is great, love the atmosphere and live music, but also the staff at Toasted Barrel. They always remember me….and there are months between visits so it is always nice they remember me. It is my version of Cheers…don’t you want to go where everybody knows your name?

It was just what we needed coming out of a chilly rain, but we would definitely enjoy it on a sunny day, too! Fabulous, unique takes on traditional grilled cheese. We tried the Crispy Goat (chevre, apple, beets, & fig) and the Chicken Melt (cheddar, chicken, pesto, tomato). Both were delicious! Great, laid-back atmosphere.

I live in the area and decided to try this place for my husbands birthday and I am glad we did. We had Alaina as a server and she was excellent. We sat up front and could watch the sidewalk traffic. The biscuits were huge and delicious. The grits were also excellent. We also give high ratings for the chicken and waffles. My only complain was the bacon was not cooked crisp so next time I would ask for crispy bacon.

I found the food bland and the menu minimal. Had the moz sticks as an appetizer and the breakfast sandwich. My friend got the Korean beef w/kimchi. I tried both and have to say that a better breakfast sandwich can be had at Dunkin’ Donuts, and the Korean beef is a unique but uninspired flavor choice. All in all, I wouldn’t come back.

Good food. Good drinks. Good service. Some gluten free GF options. Connected to Springhill Suites with nice lobby and restrooms. On street parking and parking garage nearby. Located in the heart of the city with lots of shopping and dining.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free GF bread option

So apparently this is a hotel restaurant. Very weird vibes. The photos on yelp and their website make it seem like a vibe but it's definitely not a vibe. It was definitely giving hotel restaurant. The only good thing about this place was the cocktails and service they were both delicious. On the other hand the sandwiches very disappointing. They advertise a ton about how they only use sourdough and when I think of sourdough I expect a nice crispy crunch mmmm mmm mmm! There was no crunch it was pretty dang soggy. They also advertise Friday nights as blues night let me tell you that was not blues. They had a singer with a guitar who wasn't bad but not even close to blues. My father would've been very upset. Overall so disappointed in this place I thought it was gonna be my new go to place but nahhhh fam that ain't it.

Amazing drinks! Megan, who created the signature cocktails, served us. She was a pleasure and definitely knows what she is doing! I tried 3 different drinks and all were unique and so, so very good!

Fabulous drinks, great atmosphere and excellent service. Sadly the quality of the food was just not there. The breakfast grilled melt was not good. The eggs were not great and the sausage on the sandwich was terrible. I've had better gas station sausage. We also got the mozzarella sticks and they were decent, but they were definitely Sysco frozen cheese sticks. I just expected something more artisan and hand made. I will return for drinks, but won't eat here again.
