TERRIBLE experience.. service was bad, not clean at all, server had dirty hands, manager was rude, how is it a “cash only” restaurant.. and have to pay $6.99 fee to get money out of the ATM and They don’t give change… terrible.. just terrible all around.

This place is NASTY. The kitchen is disgusting. Our servers hands were FILTHY. So bad that we canceled our food order and just paid for our bloody Mary’s. ($50 for 3). When we went to pay we were told by the rude manager in red that it was cash only but they had an ATM. No problem except there was a $6 fee and they weren’t offering change. WHAT?!

I was referred to this place by a friend the food was good not great very expensive for two people the bill was 53.00 and that was an omelette and a corned beef hash plate and coffee and a latte the waitress was not as attentive as she could have been being that there were only two tables in the restaurant at 7:00 in the morning on the other hand the owner practically set at our table talking to us the whole time even when our food came which it's okay for an owner to acknowledge you but they need to know when to leave you alone

I felt compelled to give this cafe some good review love as we have visited this location a few times and it has always been good. Be prepared to pay cash or use the ATM on site. With that being said, the food is worth the occasional wait that it takes to eat FRESH food that is not found waiting for you under a hot lamp. Service has always been friendly. The biscuits are THE BEST. The cafe con leche is on point every time. The traffic jam jelly, grits and gravy all standout as favs. I could go on and on. Give it a try and leave the nah sayers to their hot lamp breakfasts at McDonalds.

Best biscuits of all the biscuits in the history of all biscuits. Jigg our server was super friendly and welcoming. Kitchen is busy and made everything just right. I learned I love grits while I was here. Kids menu is great.I'll say this place ain't cheap, but that's ok - worth itSit along the river, take a load off, and have an amazing breakfast.

Kitchen was short staffed, so the wait for food was long. The food was good. Only complain would be the avocado. We thought it was sliced. It was a frozen puree for $5.00. My 14 year old refused to eat it.

Food was average, potatoes were over cooked, coffee was cold, and for the first time ever in my life, I spent 62.00 including tip, on a ham and cheese omelet, 2 eggs over easy, grits, bacon, with a side of potatoes. Oh ya, and a chocolate milk that was over loaded with sugar and whipped cream. Also had the unpleasant experience of being seated 2 feet from a toilet where the door kept getting left open.

This was not a good day for them. I waited over an hour for my food. My food came back wrong twice. I ended up not even eating it. The waitresses kept touching her face and hair while also touching the food. They seemed overwhelmed and short staffed. I hope to go back and have a better experience.

Did not get to eat stood in line to wait for seating before staff member got upset and announced she was no longer dealing with customers. Staff were not friendly and appeared upset at having a rough start to the day. Disappointed that i couldn’t try the restaurant.

Wait was super long. Service was poor. Appearance was poor and rusty looking. Did not eat because the server said she won’t get to us anytime soon because the rest of them are stupid. We do not recommend this place.

The coffee, cathead biscuit, and special types of bacon were to die for. Ate there two mornings.

Some food never arrived. My gluten free salad had a piece of bread in it. I have a gluten allergy. And the waffle my daughter ordered was underwhelming. The waitress was very kind but had to try to get us new water several times due to things floating in it.
