This place is listed as permanently closed. :(. And I so wanted to try it. And now I'm getting to 85 characters because the commies said so.

Been many years, bit if you stumble into this place you're going to remember it fondly.

I ate here in 2008 and I have never forgotten how delicious, how delightful, how great the people! I’m really sad that they’re closed right now and sure hope they open back up soon! I’ve always recommended it to travelers, have friends going down to Savannah this week and sorry they won’t get to experience this true Savannah delight!

Great food, great people. This is real home cooking folks, not just "tastes like". You walk in this little hole in the wall, and the food? OMG. I got the rib dinner ($12 with 2 sides), she got the 4-side combo. Between us we got collard greens, mac & cheese, Cole slaw, peas, and okra & tomatoes.

I'm only putting the stars here to not mess up their rating. When I went the restaurant was closed due to Covid 19. I was really looking forward to trying what the locals were calling the best BBQ in town. Maybe next time.Important to note... The restaurant is on a half street/alleyway, so the GPS didn't take me directly there.

Fun stop on our food tour. Local place with great boba, pulled pork was excellent, great homemade sauces.

This place is a true hidden gem in Savannah. We would've never discovered it, if we didn't do the Savannah Taste tour. It's located down a back alley of some houses, and connected to a house. It's only open on Friday and Saturdays. They had a sign that said they take cash only on the door. It smelled amazing. We only got to taste the pulled pork and ribs, but I definitely want to come back and try a full meal.

We were in hog heaven. Very good food. Cash only, not accepting plastic.

Theresa Walls makes this place special with great bbq. Making bbq for two generations in This small 4 table diner. Go down the dirt lane to find it.
A very hard to find gem. Located in one of Savannah's many alleys, GPS kept taking us around the block. It was well worth the search. Good, basic BBQ with homemade lemonade

This hideaway was on a food tour and if you get a chance please stop in. This was a huge hit with my group on the tour! Our guide told us this is a hot spot for locals and I can see why. Yummy homemade barbecue and all the sides!

The owner and staff were so attentive and welcoming, then you get the food and it blows you away, wait theres more dessert double blown away with the banana pudding! Simply amazing! We need you in South Florida!

It's a truism that the best BBQ comes in the hardest to find places. That certainly applies to Wall's. It's a tiny place on an alley in the Savannah Historic District. We thought that Google Maps was leading us the wrong way and almost gave up but we're glad we didn't. This is good, authentic Southern BBQ. The meat is really fresh and well-prepared. The sauce is more of a Piedmont style - more yellow than red - which isn't everyone's preference but I liked a lot. Also, try the homemade lemonade.

Best BBQ ribs I've had in a long time
