I haven’t even tried the food yet! I walked in on a slow night and the owner was locking up. I told her that I could leave and find something else, but she insisted that I stay and get something to eat. If that’s not hospitality at its finest, then idk what is. Thank you :)
It's a low key cosy family owned restaurant. I went for dinner and felt like it was closed because the lights were dimmed out. It accommodates around 15. Most of them come for a to go I guess. There was a lady and she was the owner and the chef I guess which is what I've seen in the other ethiopian restaurants as well. Anyways, she was nice to us. They didn't have the typical combos but I ordered the vegetarian and added one meat as add-on to it. It was $5 extra. Felt expensive...read full review

I know this place recently has always seemed closed during their normal posted/advertised business hours. Keep checking by. It's been a long time since I've tasted really good Ethiopian food and Melu's is serving it hot and fresh!! OMG, this hidden gem's food is DELICIOUS!! (Hence, the 5-star rating)?.
