Everything was perfect except the service. I asked for hot pepper flakes for my pasta, which the server said she would bring it at once.. Oh, well. That was it. I waited, waited, waited, and the pasta got cold.. I had to ask another server for it, and by the time I got them, I got them from two servers. But my pasta was so cold by then. No remedy they suggested for it, though.. that's why I am giving two stars for the service, but like I said at the beginning, everything else...read full review
Our group of 12, all visiting from South Carolina, enjoyed lunch at the Tavon’s. The menu is varied, and I had a cup of seafood gumbo which was superb. Everyone enjoyed the lunch and excellent service. We would return.

While staying at The Cloister resort Sea Island, we had dinner at Tavola. To start with, the bread served to our table was delicious. We followed the bread with a shared Caesar salad which was very good. The best part of the meal was the entrees. My wife had the chicken picatta which was deleicious.
