We come here frequently and have a great experience every time. Friendly staff, fresh delicious food and great margaritas. They had a special for a blueberry lavender margarita and it was awesome! I wish they would bring it back. We will still come back for the shrimp tacos ,TCT nachos.The list of amazing eats at this restaurant keeps me and friends coming back at least twice a week.

I used to love this place ,but they've gotten lost in their customer service with the people who spent money with them from the beginning. I was that person who used to come all the time. After my experience last week, I'll never go again and will tell everyone not to go there. To put it short, without me giving a long scenario, I was ignored at the bar and never greeted by the bartender. The staff was at the end of the bar and never asked me if I was ok and didn't ask if they could put in an order of food or anything. Staff kept chatting and avoided eye contact after I stared at them. Side note I was there for 10 minutes. This particular day, I didn't have my regular casual wear on, so I looked broke. So, hey, judgment was definitely happening. I haven't been there in a while, so nobody really knew me, so I really got a chance to see how they threat PEOPLE who don't look like them. NO EXCUSE CAN EXPLAIN THIS. To save the reputation of the business, they'll try to say it was another reason. You could feel the tension in the whole room. STAY AWAY MY PEOPLE THAT VALUE WHERE YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THIS PLACE WILL NOT GIVE A SINGLE CARE ABOUT YOU. CORRECTION IF YOU'RE. ..... ........

Service was horrific. I happened to be out on my own with my 4 year old daughter. My husband wasn’t with me. I arrived about 10 minutes before a few other groups of people arrived. A mixture of couples and families. Everyone received their food and drinks before I even received my drink— this is despite the fact that I’d put in my order at least 10 minutes before they even arrived. The waitress walked past me no fewer than SEVEN times without even glancing my way. In my 38 years of living, I have never felt intentionally ignored before this experience. I don’t know the motive for this utter negligence. But it was apparent that I was intentionally being overlooked. I left with my feelings hurt, and with a sense of confusion. As well as with a hungry child. Do not give this place your business.

WOW! I just wanted to say that we love this place. My wife and I meet up with my brother pretty regularly at this spot and love it. The food is great - my wife gets the "Al Alambre" (Steak and Shrimp Skewers) every time we go and it is seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend the "Blackened Mahi" and if you are into fajitas, their chicken fajitas are the most flavorful in the area in my opinion. The overall vibe of the restaurant is fun. Sometimes dance music is played, sometimes radio bops from the past. Sometimes it might not particularly be the sounds my wife and I are into but even then it seems that everyone in the restaurant is enjoying themselves and having a great time. The restaurant was decorated festively for the holidays and the mood matched the holiday spirit. Additionally, I'd like to shout out the community that surrounds the place - if you haven't, go to Jonquil on any night and you will see locals walking about having a blast. However, the food and the ambiance is not why I have chosen to give The Corner Taquiera a 5 Star review. The reason would have to be the service from waitress Kiera B. We are met with the same level of bubbly energy from her every single time we go here. She is knowledgeable of the food, friendly, and attentive to the tables. Whatever area she is responsible for during the night, the tables are laughing, eating great food usually recommended by Kiera, and having a great time, which, in my opinion, is the point of going out to eat. To me, that experience is made possible with amazing waitresses like her. If she hasn't already received a raise, she should, as it just makes sense to retain people as charming and hard working as she is. She's definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back again and again.

I decided to try this place one random day and that was probably the best thing I've ever done.The bar staff are wonderful to interact with, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food spectacular. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken tacoCold beer, delicious margaritas, excellent food... What more can you ask for?Update: Mila (I think that's the spelling) is one badass bartender. 10/10Parking: Parking can be tough depending on when you go, I recommend getting there early.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.
Came for brunch on a Thursday, Alex was my waiter. She had a great attitude, high energy and was very attentive. The food was near perfection- the perfect amount of spicy and flavor! Ordered an elote, calamari taco, the breakfast taco, spicy Caesar. The hibiscus margarita was strong and smooth. Everything exceeded my expectations! I’ve found my regular brunch spot for Thursdays ?
This is our go to spot if my husband and I want to go out to lunch. Food is quick and delicious. The restaurant itself could use a thorough cleaning especially in the bathrooms.

We eat here 2-3 times per week. It's so good that when we went to Italy for 2 weeks, all we wanted when we got home was Corner Taqueria. The grilled chicken bowl is my go to, but can't go wrong with the tacos.
