Food was not good..mostly hard rice and dry peas..5 small oxtails and tasteless cabbage..spent $26 on this one meal and feel like I've been robbed

I've been to Jamaican Flavors quite a few times, starting in the early days when Terry was personally behind the counter. They have a Yelp offer for 20% off that Terry apparently didn't know was a thing. Years later, the offer is still advertised. I only request it every other trip since I do feel mildly bad asking, but it's kind of their own fault for still having it up at this point.I've ordered the jerk chicken, stew chicken, goat curry, and ox tail. Everything except for ox tail was superb. I didn't quite want to burn the place down like that one disgruntled diner, but I was certainly underwhelmed by the ox tail.Honest to goodness, it's a good restaurant that deserves a lot more praise than it's been given. I keep forgetting about their very reasonably priced lunch specials. If it's really still $5, then it's a steal. Even at $6-7, it'd be a reasonable price for very good Jamaican flavors.

I'm so disappointed! I drove 30 minutes to get some rasta pasta only to be extremely underwhelmed. It was super dry, lacked veggies, lacked flavor, and just was ugh! I should have listened to the reviews. If 50 people are saying that the food is dry & bland then why would you not believe them? (Questions I ask myself smh lol). Anyway, I definitely will not be back. My boyfriend enjoyed his "jerk" chicken (although it tastes more like bbq chicken to me).

I stick to my Jerk Chicken, always came out the way I liked.During the week I get the Stew Chicken/ Rice ($5 Lunch special). THE MOST DISGUSTING OXTAILS IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!! Whoever own this restaurant need to fucking fire the cook. Bitch just ruined my appetite for dinner. Oxtails BURNT, OVERCOOKED, ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR & DRY!!!!! Cabbage OVERCOOKED AND SOGGY!!! I wish I could go to the restaurant right now and knock everything down. The cook is disrespectful for cooking this BULLSHIT and having the AUDACITY to serve this. I don't even think an animal should be served this shit! This is so disrespectful to the Jamaican culture! Have door dashed from here a couple of times. My husband says their jerk wings are very good, well marinated and spicy. I would love to agree but he ate all of them. When I attempted to reorder wings the next day, they had already run out. We'll be ordering from them again

Not at all what I expected when I ordered through Uber Eats. The food was very very bland. It tasted really really old like they just warmed it up. Did not taste fresh at all! The jerk sauce taste more barbecue than jerk. Ew. Will never order here again!
