Our server was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was absolutely delicious, had the seafood enchilada and it was damn near perfect.

The food look like it was set out overnight like they don't change it every single day. None of the veggies or beans look fresh. The food taste old. The cooking equipment had buildup on it and it didn't look like they cleaned it in forever.

Update: Not much has changed since my last visit. - Now back to my old review. I love the chips here let me state that first! I wish the rest of my review was as positive as I am about the chips. Starting on the ordering line the guys behind the counter where minimally interactive at best. But it was lunch hour to a certain point I understand. So basically the most I've heard out of the staff was how much I owed for my meal. Enough talk about staff let's move on to the food! I ordered a burrito with steak and added various toppings. The burrito was so bland and salty I'm surprised it did not crystallize before me into a huge salt lick. Hands down this is the worst burrito I think I have ever had. Maybe a worse one could be found in downtown Leningrad otherwise it's at Barberitos. But the chips are great so they get two stars from me!

I have been eating here 2x a wk since this place opened many yrs ago..This used to be my ultimate #1 place in town for lunch. New owner recently with the son as manager. No Steak, No flour tortillas, No salsa cups, No red salsa, no cilantro, no olives, no Blk Beans, no cup straws, and all tables and glass doors were all filthy dirty.... with not a singe customer dining. Plenty of time to clean the dining area???? They all hide and chat in the back room and ignore the customer and food areas... while BLARING SUPER LOUD weird LSD psychedelic music.. Extremely annoying and disappointing! The young employee serving me is a complete zombie (will not make eye contact to acknowledge, nor speak whatsoever, wearing basketball shorts and old slippers with socks and a dirty blk hoodie sweater like he woke up and went to work in his pajamas)? I will not be returning anytime soon. Get some basic uniforms for crying out loud and wear pants when working in a public indoor food establishment! Where is the Regional manager surprise visits to keep these franchise owners in check??????I returned again 4/13/22 @ 2:11pm and guess what???? NO STEAK AGAIN!!!! nor was any being cooked, the chips were raw (1/2 was uncooked). I am 100% DONE with this place and the new ownership!!!! The young man running this place for his dad is not doing a good job at all. Its really too bad..this use to be my favorite place 3x a week. I now go somewhere else 3-4 times a week instead.

We visited Barberitos for the first time this weekend. There was only ONE employee working! But, he was very friendly and stayed calm and was able to handle the customers in a timely manner. He was a great example of a great employee. The chicken was very good and we both really liked our meals. It's located five minutes from campus in a nice shopping center. Would definitely go back. Hope they are able to fix their staffing shortage soon.

Went there this evening. Ordered 2 burrito bowls one for me and my husband. They didn't have any steak but a half scoops. They didn't want to make more. The area of food surrounding was disgusting. Hadn't looked clean in days. No salsa but 2. And Ordered Monday special for any burrito, burrito bowl for 8.49 with soda,chips and salsa. But got charged 70 cents for steak each and it wasn't alot or hot.

While I know this location is under new ownership and has some work to do, as a regular, I find the food to always be fresh and the staff friendly. As with many restaurants these days, turnover is common so constant training is needed. They are putting in the work.

I rarely get my order correct when I irder through uber eats. I know it's only the restaurant that makes the mistakes. I order hours before they are closed and they ara ALWAYS out of something. Order more supplies to keep up with the demands. I mean it's a college town duh. Im a local and makes me not want to order from here again. Sad cuz I like the food.

Horrible, ordered quesadillas and they were steamed instead of grilled. No drinks available, coke dispenser broken and no tea made. Looked like it had not been cleaned in a week.
Honestly better than Chipotle on the whole. Isn't as cold on the inside like moes, is cheaper though but moes has better salsa and cheese. Barberitos does have more tortilla and taco shell options as well as a mini burrito for when you don't need as beefy of a burrito.

The food was horrible...taco shells were stale...I ordered four tacos and only received two. I called no answer. All the things ordered were not even on the food...I want my money back

I have went to this place probably about 20 times And I have never experienced a problem until last night I believe it was around 7:3 We got one of those burrito bowls 1st off all the things you put in the Bowls the sides were very low barely anything Duh I know it's getting late and they're not gonna make or refill it all the way but that was the smallest bowl I've ever got Literally got like 7 beans If I'm gonna pay a $149 for guacamole I at least I at least want a good amount not one little teeny scoop The 2 people that were working there last night must have been new or something I need some new training or help
