Had the Salmon spinach crustless quiche with Ginger Beer and a side of sweet plantains. To die for! Get there early (before 11am) if you can! They sell out fast!

Sooo delicious! I can’t wait for you to open up an actual restaurant, I would be there everyday!

They still come to the Main Street Farmer's Market in Statesboro! Their empanadas are delicious. I've had the chicken and vegetable ones. Both great!

Went on a Monday at lunch time and just the man was working. None of the sides were available and he didn't give me what I ordered. Food was alright, but frozen crinkle fries and canned green beans on the side and it was over priced. Next time I'll call ahead to see if there are daily specials and sides. Still try though, expand your horizons, just be specific with your order!

I'm from Honduras and trust me I know a lot about Caribbean cooking and this food was TERRIBLE. Dry chicken, unflavored rice and beans, extremely bad spice combinations. Avoid it.

When driving by, you don't think twice about stopping by this tiny shack. Well, you should. This restaurant is owned by a lovely couple who have a passion for Caribbean cuisine. My friend and I ordered jerk chicken and their special, curry shrimp. Both were delightful. The owner took the time to come out and chat with us about her restaurant and how it came to be. I did select 4 instead of 5 stars only because I thought the special was slightly overpriced. All their regular meals are very affordable. A must have is the mango tea. Next time you are driving by, make sure you stop for a great Caribbean meal.

Hidden gem of Statesboro. It's just a lady from Trinidad cooking Caribbean food in a shack. But don't let the looks fool you, it's better than the larger restaurant across the street (El Som). Had the Jerk Chicken and it was seasoned perfectly and fell off the bone. Had it with rice, black eyed peas, fried plantains and sweet potato fries. It was excellent. They offer other Caribbean classics like Braised Ox Tail, Goat Curry, Jerk Pork, and Chicken Curry. Highly recommend.

From a snow-cone hut in a fork in the road comes Caribbean cuisine that reminds me of the Islands. The jerk chicken and pigeon peas with rice made me wish to be in the island sun. Very reasonably priced and wonderful service. The only drawback is that there is no inside seating, only picnic tables. However, the food more than makes up for this minor inconvenience.
