I enjoy D's (for Dana) Friendly Diner because it's just that...friendly. OK, It's not haute cuisine, it's not white table cloth... The place is always jumping. I have only eaten breakfast but this is the place the locals eat. One sees the mayor, city councilmen and the like along with good ole down to earth people & families. We were in town visiting Georgia Southern and needed a quick breakfast fix. This is an awesome spot for real breakfast food. The diner is small. Seat yourself and wait to be served at your table. My daughter has pancakes, which she loved. My wife had the platter with eggs, sausage, hash browns, and biscuits/gravy. Our other daughter had biscuits with sausage gravy. They all loved it.
