My husband and I came here for a Sunday hangover cure meal. This was our first time here and it’s a very casual, laidback atmosphere. We got the oxtail, mofongo, apple cinnamon french toast, yucca, the macchiato, and for alcohol my husband got the pitcher of jalapeño margarita and I got their take on a caipirinha. Yes, we thought with our stomach and not our heads and took most of it home. It was quite a bit of food but after tip it was $160… It was quite pricey, just the macchiato was $6 and the oxtail was $25. The food was absolutely delicious; I loved the oxtail and rice. Every dish had an abundance of flavor! So so good. On another note, at first the service was really good and all of our drinks and food came out promptly. However, near the last 30 minutes we were there our waitress just disappeared. She vanished and was never seen again, we spent most of the time hoping someone would make eye contact with us and get us the check. Instead I had to approach the bar; we were completely forgotten about to say the least. I thought the food was truly delicious and the drinks were not cheaply made, they truly had the perfect balance. I just wish the restaurant was ran a bit more professionally, because it’s a place I wish I could give 5 stars too.

Great little find! Love finding Gems like this! Please support this Dominican restaurant! The hotel I’m staying at says every restaurant that comes in this spot does not do well. Well, I can tell you it’s not because of the service, the food and the amazing people. Angie did an amazing job with the oxtail. Continue to support this amazing restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.!

We loved almost everything about this lil gem! My husband's food arrived before mine, and this was the only reason I rated 4 stars on the food. I wanted mimosas, but it was Sunday, and in Georgia, you have to wait until after 12 noon. We had non-alcoholic mimosas. ? The food was gorgeous, delicious, and priced reasonably. The restaurant was CLEAN and the staff ?? super-friendly. We will visit again when we are in the area. I don't normally take pics of my food nor do I leave reviews often, but this place is well deserving of my time. And yours! Stop by and enjoy!!

Cute, Clean and Classy... Walked in and Mark Anthony was playing on the sounds. I was at the right place! Literally driving though Stockbridge and googled Black Owned Sandwich near me, and Angie's Cafe popped up. Totally unexpected to find a Latino vibe in this area...and SOOOO Happy too! I had the mofongo and salmon, tostones and my friend had the Flouder with rice and beans and sweet plantain. Topped it off with a Mango and Passion Fruit Juice, respectively. Will definitely be coming back. The service was perfect and checked the hours to see that they open as late as 10pm, and as early as 7am. I encourage you to run in and check this out. I looked at all the plates coming out and they were large....so I know portions we fair to price. Im sooo excited to find this spot. It was divine intervention that brought me here! (btw...they have a full bar!)

Today was my 1st time eating there. I ordered a Tuna Sandwich & hubby ordered a beef burrito with homemade fries. I never saw a burrito that big. It was stuffed with plenty of beef & other ingredients. Trust me. For what we ordered it was cheap and it fills you up. This place is worth going back to. Which we we're planning on going back again this Saturday.

Went in at 8:15pm on a Saturday and it was not very busy. Service was good. I got the Eggs Benedict which was excellent and paired well with the sweet tea.

Excellent. Walked in, vibes were awesome, food came out on time (had the goat) and it was fantastic, customer service is on point. My dad loves this place, so he brought me here since I'm from out of town. You won't be disappointed.
