This location is better than most. It is always a hit or miss with availabilities of what I'm shopping for. The store is clean and the associates are friendly.

Have a funeral and was told I can get 100 pieces of chicken. Got the name of the person to ask for. I get there and they tell me I can choose from the rotisserie chickens that are in the display because they are out of chicken. They even were laughing in the back like it was funny. Horrible customer service!

This Kroger sits in the Spivey Junction shopping center on Hudson Bridge in Stockbridge. It is the anchor store of the small plaza and additionally features a Kroger Fuel spot as well. This Kroger has been here for a while, however has been renovated and refreshed throughout the years. Currently the store is in decent shape, with minor wear and tear throughout, but for the most part is well kept and maintained. Cleanliness for the store was similar, however the restroom needed some attention and the parking lot had a bit of debris in the aisles. I was impressed with the size, layout and stock of this Kroger. I was only after a few items, but wandered around the store and found that there were not a lot of empty spots on the shelves. If you can overlook the carts of boxes and the staff actively stocking, then you are set for a good shopping trip! But without those boxes and those folks, those shelves wouldn't be as stocked and that cart wouldn't be as full! Service was good. I asked an Associate on the floor if they had an item in the back and they checked all the carts they had to stock in that area. Turns out they didn't have, but it was nice of them to check. On the flip side, when I was checking out the Associate assigned to self-check was less than helpful. I had a blinking light due to wine purchase and she did not see as she was on her phone standing in the corner. I went to get her and during she seemed bothered that I needed her help. Stark difference from the floor team and the register team. Overall, I am not in this area much, but if I find myself here and the need arises, this Kroger is a solid spot for me to swing by!

The Kroger stores of Henry county that I regularly visit to mostly purchase gift cards but not grocery shop, are the Ellenwood, Hudson Bridge, Jonesboro Rd and the East lake/Price quarters location. Outside of the Price Quart location. You have the nastiest "B"ucking bathrooms I've ever seen attached to a place that sells pig guts, gas and cigarettes. You all should be ashamed of the condition and odors that float out of those latrines. Let me know leave out the popular location on Hwy 138 in Stockbridge, but it may be in Clayton County. That entire plaza has horrible plumbing but only your store has the odors to match. There are truck stops and gas stations with much more pleasant appeal, aroma, cleanliness and PRIDE. I'm sick of it and I will be placing this in to Google Reviews and Yelp. Your employees and customers deserve a hell of lot better than that. Repair all Clayton and Henry county bathrooms, please reference a Publix grocery store in the worse part of town you can for reference on how customers should be provided facilities. Health Inspectors must have iron clad constitutions.

I try to do my grocery shopping first thing in the morning before they get busy. Down side the isles are always filled with workers filling shelves BUT that's the upside too. They are always nice, helpful, and always shift their carts for traffic. I passed by both managers and they greeted me, which is always nice. Not sure why the stars are so low but I come here often and am never disappointed.

Came in for my sons birthday to get several balloons blown up I came in with the balloons in my hand, went over to a register they told me to go to florist desk. I go over there a big YALL guy comes . You want these balloons blown up? Me:yes..they will be 3.99 he starts blowing them up 2 seconds later his phone rings on the counter. He answers but it goes dead. Then a lady walks by tell your customer that will be 3.99 per ballon mind you I never asked, but I'm like okay cool. So I'm done with the balloons head over to register to check a young lady looks at me her phone rings while I'm standing in line she answers looks at me again and hangs the phone up. I knew that had to be another person telling her to charge me 3.99 well atleast that's what I assumed but why??? I never asked not one person that...I tell her hey she said these are 3.99 she says no they called and told me to charge you 6.99 I said "no"and why is someone watching me singling me out she said I don't have time for this turned her light off and went to lunch.Next a lady walks up of the same race as me (Black) and ask if she can help me I told her what was going on she called a manager,I explain the story to the manager as to how I felt as if I was being profiled because I was I never asked for a discount, never asked how much or anything and I have ppl calling because there watching me in the store I don't know if it was a eye in the sky or what but it felt very weird and embarrassing that I had to go through all this. Racism has to stop. What I do know if they wouldn't have done this to a Caucasian women unless she was stealing. Now let me say this a manager came out and decided to give me a discount and offer her apologies But I don't go to this Kroger anymore I go to the one on 138

This place is always out of something for no reason. The management is terrible. Shelves are often bare. Randomly chips will be gone. Bread as well. Not like during a pandemic or hurricane just a random week without bread or milk because they didn't calculate their stock correctly. Ridiculous! Hopefully when they build the new store they will bring new management too. When does Publix open?!?

Unfriendly staff, prices are frequently inflated when checking out from the price on the shelf. I discontinued going to this Kroger months ago. My wife went there this week. When she got home she compared the ticket to the sale price on a pie she purchased. They charged her $2.00 more than the listed sale price. Goto Public's or Ingles if you are in this area. Save yourself the frustration that you will experience at this store. If I could give this store negative stars I would.

I don't know what happened tonight while picking up my wife's grocery order. I pulled into a fairly empty parking lot and called the phone # on the sign beside me. There was a parked car on my right with no one in it and a car parked on my left with no one in it. I was in the grocery pickup aisle and the woman on the phone asked me what lane I was in. I said I think I'm in lane 2. She said "you can't be in lane 2". I said ok....well the sign in front of me says lane #2. She ask what color car am I in and I told her. She said for me to open up my trunk or back seat and that she will be right out. A few minutes later she showed up with the 38 items my wife ordered AND HAD THEM IN 38 DIFFERENT PLASTIC BAGS. I'm sorry but each can of soup that we ordered doesn't need to be in its own bag. I just felt like this person didn't know what she was doing.

The majority of the time this is a good store. Everything is easy to find, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. We've used the Click Pick a few times and had pretty good success with it. That is until this last time. We ordered out groceries (it wasn't a lot of groceries) with a pick up window from 6-7 the next evening. We got there at 6:45 and called. A man told us he would be right out. He came out and put groceries in another car that was there before us. He confirm our name and went back inside. He came out with groceries for a car that pulled up after us. After about 30 minutes we called and he stated there was an issue with our order and he was correcting it and would be out. After an hour passed I went inside to speak to the manager. While this is going on the employee made another run outside where he loaded groceries into another car which got there well after us. He then told the manager one of the totes with our stuff went missing. We only had about 5 bags of groceries so if they lost a tote then they lost our whole order or it never was picked. The manager explained that he would be out in 15 minutes and gave me a $20 gift card. About 30 minutes later the employee came out and gave us a $30 gift card explaining that he had to bring out the groceries for the other cars before he could work on getting our stuff together and that he would be right out with ours. Thirty minutes later, (we're now at 2 hours) we go back inside and ask for the manager. She walks back to get the employee and he comes out with our stuff. We walk to the car and he puts our bags in the back, apologizes and goes inside. We check our order against our receipt. Five or six items were still missing. We went back inside, now fuming and hungry. He leaves and comes back with our missing items. We waited a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes to get our groceries. Had we not paid, we would have gone inside and gotten our stuff in a fraction of that time. There is no excuse for that.

This place is turning me against Kroger for one simple reason. GREED. They now charge $0.50 for cash back of any amount. Shame on you Kroger for this policy.

The employees have always been so friendly and helpful to me. I am including the stockers as quite often they are still there when I go shopping as I shop very early in the mornings. Everyone always answers my questions with a smile.I see these employees at least every other day as I shop there quite frequently and am very appreciative of how well I am treated. Some employees even remember what I like and will let me know if there is a sale on the item. I can't say enough about the employees here - they are top notch and should be appreciated for all the hard work they do.

I finally tried the home delivery service on the Kroger App I was left disappointed and with missing items. While the delivery service is fulfilled through instacart there is no where to handle any of the missing items through the Kroger App. I called the store and a manager put me on hold for over 5 minutes and out of frustration I hung up and contacted customer service through email. To go through Instacart it's asking me to login into my account - well I don't have an Instacart account everything was done through my Kroger account.Bottom line not work $9.95 for the service

I have never had a serious problem before in any other Kroger, and usually is fine when I do quick errands in this Kroger on my way home but yesterday at the self check out registers at 5:15 pm(May 19, 2019), the machine said check cart, 21 items. The employee was helping another African-american lady behind us. She also had the same error of 21 items check cart. But she just swiped her ID and let it go quick. For us she started counting the items in our bag. And since she counted incorrectly, she kept insisting that we didn't scan item. My husband was not happy as he has sen how she reacted for this other lady customer behind us. The employee insisted she was doing her job and even said that he was been rude. WELL, SHE WAS DOING HER JOB ONLY IF SHE HAD TREATED THE OTHER CUSTOMERS THE SAME WAY AS US, but I guess the difference is that the other customer was also a 'sista'. Racism goes both ways in the South. I had to show her where in the receipt on the screen was registered the bacon, the hot dogs, the turkey ham, etc!!!!! that we had scanned correctly and she was unable to find something that we could have stolen. We even suggested to cancel all items and we would start all over but she said she didn't want to(of course, because she wanted to find we were trying to take something without scanning!). Then she rudely had to swipe her card and left. Way to go, Kroger!!! Train your employees better.
