Mama Rachel's kitchen provides you with a variety of meals to choose from. I choose the pork chop dinner w/2 sides. My sides were fried okra and collard greens and cornbread. I wanted to try the Mac and cheese but didn't want to spend the extra money. My meal was delicious but one chop was a lil salty and the cornbread was dry other than that I would have given them 5 stars.

Very nice please with good food. The service was very quick and the food tastes good. I got the swai which I never had before and it was cooked well along with the sides.

Customer service started off pleasant. I guess I was asking too many questions being my first time here. Fast forward. After receiving my order I was told I could get a soda. I ask, "if I could get something different because I don't drink soda." She rudely insisted that I get a soda or nothing. They don't even have bottled water. Anyways I ordered wings but couldn't change my side to my liking. Had to order everything individually. Asked for crispy wings, wasn't crispy. Sweet BBQ sauce taste like regular bbq. The potato salad was fine. However, this mac and cheese taste like tap water and cheese. Cole slaw and peach cobbler nasty.

The customer service was nice but the food wasn’t all what I thought it was going to be. They didn’t use seasoning on the chicken. The collard greens had way too many stems… I don’t think they will be receiving my support any longer.

This is a great place for southern style foods. The sweet tea will put you in a diabetic coma, but still good?. They have vegetarian dishes, if that's your thing. And of course the memory inspiring dishes you remember. Pork chops with all the sides, oxtails, greens, rice, and the desserts too. Peach cobbler, red velvet cake, etc. Do yourself a favor and find this place, for at least one meal. It's worth the effort. Once the pandemic slows down, dining in will be enjoyable.

I've past Mama Rachel's since they've open for no apparent reason. However, my daughter who convinced me to try them finally and we are glad we did! We really enjoyed the food. We will visit again for sure!
So when you walk in it's not really inviting, BUT ignore all that. Mama Rachels Fried shrimp is no joke! That's literally all I order. For them not to be a seafood restaurant they don't play with the fish and shrimp. I've also had pork chops, mac and cheese and greens from them as well. The pork chops are definitely on the saltier side, the greens are delicious and the Mac and cheese is ok. Oh and I almost forgot... Their lemonade is THEE Bomb. I mean it looks like green Kool-aid but they say it's lemonade so I'm just gon call it that. lmao Its nothing to be played with. Also, parking is pretty decent it's in a really small plaza.

Had a vegetable plate. Mac and cheese, collards and okra. M & C was excellent as well as the collards. A little heat and sweet in the collard made it different from moms, but it was still excellent. Okra is a long shot in most restaurants as nothing is as good as homemade with your own cornmeal. This was not heavily battered and right respectable for restaurant okra. Took about 5 minutes to get my order. Very nice and patient lady working the front because none of us knew what we wanted!! I live in the neighborhood. I'll be back!
