I took my kids to Marble Slab Creamery in Stockbridge on 2/3/24, hoping for a good experience since it's closer to us. While the ice cream flavors were great, I wasn't happy with the customer service. The lady at the counter was more interested in her phone than helping us. Even when she finally served us, she seemed uninterested and we had to repeat our orders. The atmosphere felt cold, like we weren't welcome. Plus, instead of giving us our ice cream, she just left it on the counter. Usually, they hand your orders to you during checkout. I had to ask her where our orders were, and she pointed and said, “It’s down there” before jumping back into watching videos with the volume blasted on her phone. I planned on staying inside and eating the ice cream here with my kids, but because it felt like we were interrupting, I opted to eat the ice cream in my car before going home. Despite liking Marble Slab's flavors, I think they need to work on their service at this location.

How do you expect for customers to be happy when you read through comments from over a year ago and see someone made the same complaint you have now. What is the point in staying open until 8pm if you stop serving ice cream at 7:30. If your employees don’t understand that certain roles require you to clean up after you close or you don’t pay them for the hour they have to stay after to clean up after closing then you’re doing a disservice to your customers. If you’re open until 8 serve ice cream until 8pm. The service here makes me feel willing to drive 20+ minutes to cold stones in conyers to get better service and ice cream until they close.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. This location has gone downhill since the change of ownership. They are constantly out of stock. How is this even possible? To Never have marshmallow crème yet have an ice cream creation which has the crème as an ingredient. The location is always dirty and the customer leaves a lot to be desired. Please sell to owners who care about owner experience.

0 stars. Hate isn't strong enough word. Mama bear is piping hot right now and ready to fight. I am beyond pissed. I brought my 3 year old daughter on her Birthday and we left crying on her bday bc they refused to make a cookie cake or slice etc. Claiming they close in "literally a few mins" at 8:00 it wasn't even 7:45 yet. Stating their oven was already off. I asked please it was her bday and we had already drove an hour trying to find one open and I already told my daughter we were getting cookie cake. They refused and offered just the circle cookies. She was devastated. I've been to the other GAC location in McDonough and they will make them on the spot and ready in less than 10 mins. Now I'm consoling my toddler. This is horrible customer service. If you "CLOSE" at 8 then you close at 8. You don't turn your oven off 20 mins prior. I understand if it was like 3 mins before close. But this wasn't case. AND even then you still deliver. I've worked in the industry before. It doesn't take long to make those. I'm so shocked someone to stoop to such poor service. I contacted corporate and getting action taken. Congratulations to the 2 young ladies for making a toddler cry and breaking her heart on her Birthday.

Need the original owners back! This location used to be amazing. Now it’s a mess. They never have the ice cream toppings as advertised. No marshmallows. No marshmallow cream. How do you make a ski jump without it? I’ve come here three times over the past two years and they are always out. Is this a coincidence or does the management not care? Save your money and go to the other locations.

Worst service ever!!!!! My daughter put in a order for a ice cream birthday cake for my grandson 12th birthday, on the receipt she put down the cake would be picked up by five. When I got down there at 5:30 to pick up the cake for his party, they had the receipt on the board but they forgot to make the cake and then asked can you just postpone the party for another day? and promise to we'll make the cake for you. So, my daughter called all the invitees to informed them that she needed to cancel the party from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and again told them pick up for the cake would be at five and that was because there was another party that he had been invited to, andmost of his friends had been invited invited to that was Saturday party So my daughter went down at 7:30 to pick up the cake. Give them extratime, while you everybody got to the party she left to go pick up the cake it wasn't ready. They asked her if she could sit wait and give them a chance to put it in the refrigerator for it to set so everybody was already there so she waited in the car for the cake to set because she didn't have a cake no choice. By the time she got the three point something miles to the party the cake had already started to melted he had a ice cream birthday goo for a cake. But they still charged her full price for this horrible cake. on top of that by the time my daughter finally got home with the cake, instead of a birthday party with his friends, he ended up having a party with his aunts and his grandparents because everybody that left because the cake didn't get there until close till 830

Got ripped off. We ordered on Uber Eats and spending 10 bucks on a half cup of ice cream and a little bit of chocolate syrup is insane! Boring, basic flavors and the exorbitant cost and TINY PORTION make this a no-go. I hope the owners see this and learn that their business is going to fail if it keeps this up. I'd give 0 stars if I could

I went to this Great American Cookie to get a custom cookie cake for my 18th birthday. It looked just like my drawing and I was very happy with what I paid for. When we got home we realized it was a 16' circle cake and we order a 16' square cake from the menu on the back wall. It was quite a bit more expensive than the circle cake. We call them and they said they don't make square cakes....but it was no problem when we order 2 days ago. This was a little frustrating but they were really sweet about it and offered a full refund or....we could pick up a square cake replacement in 45 minutes......but they don't sell square cakes....it was just a mess.

The young lady at the counter informed me that they stopped serving ice cream at 7:30. They were serving someone prior to us and we had to wait to be served. The sign says they close at 8:00. Why stop serving ice cream prior to your closing hours, when you are an ice cream shop!
