I have been a supporter of this lounge since they first came to this area in 2021. When I came on Taco Tuesday on Tuesday April 9th, I was rushed out of the door after I paid for my food. I felt scammed and bamboozled, and I felt like I was singled out. The way I was handled was so unprofessional. It took everything in me not to send my food back to the kitchen and get a refund. It’s incidents like this that make it hard to support black owned businesses. There is a way to handle everyone and deal with everyone but the way I was handled was not IT. Recently checked out Milan’s w/ hubby during their Taco/Karaoke Tuesday. Karaoke was great— had some singers that def “sang” & the Karaoke host was lively and engaging—-so my stars are for entertainment only. Upon arriving, I didn’t know that the place was a “cigar” lounge. Being an ex-smoker, that didn’t bother me— but for the place to be as small as it is and very little ventilation to aid w/ circulating the air— that’s when it became an issue. [ I have been to cigar lounges previously and never left smelling like I did after leaving Milan’s].They could not turn on the fans, but offered to open door/window. They do have outside seating, but you can’t enjoy the entertainment outside (couldn’t really hear music from outside either). So decided to stick it out for a little while after being told fans couldn’t be cut on. Part of the kitchen is open and located in the bar area (I know- it sounds weird and looked weird as well…def a first for me. The cook appeared to be frying something…maybe taco shells or something). Food wasn’t good (but being fair— we didn’t order their main entrees…it would hv really bn horrible if we paid $30-35/plate for food and it tasted just as poor quality as the simple dishes). There are a few TVs in you want to stop by to catch game. They have happy hr 5-8p— with drink specials . So catch the drink special prices if you decide to go, b/c after 8p the mix drinks aren’t worth the full price (overly filled w/ ice, very weak…we ordered multiple and even my husband was bewildered— he’s not really a drinker). All in all, simply wanted to share our personal experience and will not return. Side note: smelled like a smoked out chimney from head to toe as we got in car and got home (now wondering how to get this potent smoke smell out of my boho braids for work the next day lol…smh).

I was asked to attend a birthday party with a friend girl of mines. I order a circo punch drink which it was not Circo liquor. I only drink Circo liquor so I know exactly how it tastes. I ask the waitress for another drink she said I would have to pay for the other drink as well that's not Circo I did not order another drink nor will I purchase anything else. I highly support black business hope all goes well.

My Go-To Spot. Love the staff and the food I just eliminate the salt. The CHEF is the BOMB, T is the bartender and my Favorite waitress Taylor is another reason we visit. A few updates: Milan's is still a hidden gem. I now know why I was upcharged in my previous review. They extend the credit card fees to you so if you pay cash you can avoid all that. The manager/owner is very nice as well. The Tacos, The Pork Chop, Fried broccoli, Shrimp & Fries EVERYTHING is Good! Milans also give back to the community several times a year which is so cool. They hosted a Free Thanksgiving Dinner for everyone and the food was the BOMB. Let's get out and support this Amazing neighborhood spot!

If you go here, bring CASH. Was charged extra extra for hookah. The spot is ok, we went on a Saturday night at 7pm and it was not crowded for the time we were there. The food is ok, it's club food, so don't look for top quality. I ordered chicken tenders and fries and the waitress bought us wings. Smh. We were charged for the wings. She was very nice though. The hookah was $35. When I was paying, she told me it would cost $38. When I looked at my receipt, it said $44. I checked my bank statement, and it said I was charged $46! Imagine how many people they do this too? The 18% gratuity is added to all checks. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind tipping, what I don't mind is being lied to and robbed. Do better. I won't be back.
