First and last time. Order the smoke tips with fries today. Got my food it was cold. The two young men there seemed as if they didn’t care and was unbothered. Was actually recommended this place by a friend. Disappointment.

Walked in and had to yell at the server, who was sitting down and ask if we could just seat ourselves. Then he brought us menus and we were told by the girl sitting at the register we had to come order there, when we went to place our order we were told they were out of potatoes the daily special. No recommendations were made as to an alternative she just told us that maybe if we had called in our order earlier we could have got one. Very rude and disrespectful, not what was expected ,but I know where to not spend my money.

I tried to give the manager time to call me back before making this review but 2 weeks later and nothing.I ordered a smothered bbq chicken sandwich.. The chicken was dry and burnt and im not 100 percent sure it was chicken i took one bite and between the burnt chicken and vinegar coleslaw it was a no for me. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich it was dry with no sauce.. the macaroni and cheese was just macaroni the cheese was non existent everything was just terrible… not to mention I ordered potato salad they have me Cole slaw which again tasted like vinegar..Im so disappointed I never even asked for a refund I just wanted to let the manager know because maybe they dont know how the food was this day. Im not even gonna post the pictures. Smh

I like the one in Atl better. This one does not seasoning their food. The smoked wings were tough and unseasoned.

Who owns this place???? The staff is not competent at all. I looked at the menu upon going and saw that they have chili, so I drove 10 minutes during my lunch break. I get inside and was greeted and then I told her what I was getting which was 2 Chili’s to go so she asked small, medium or large so I said large then she says well we can only do small, so I said ok let’s make it 4 small then so it can just measure out to 2 large then…. And then she says we don’t have enough chili for that… we only take out a certain amount and it’s really only a hotdog topping. Then why didn’t she just say that from the beginning and why is it under the Brunswick stew with cornbread it’s advertised as a soup. Both the menu needs to be revised and the staff needs training. So I left and headed to Rico’s on my lunch break. It’s not about the chili it’s about how do you work somewhere and not know what’s going on….

Decided to tryout there new/larger location. Empty and dark establishment but still decided to give it a try. The old location was pretty good. I ordered a pulled pork bbq sandwich . For as long as I had to wait you would've thought the sandwich would have been hot. It was room temp. Not sure if I would go back.

Please read the reviews, I wish I had. I should have took a few more minutes to scan the yelpers before I placed my order. I promise not to forget this step next time when trying a new food place :) I was at the Publix and decided I give them a try since they weren't that busy. For starters, their website said they closed at 9, the guy at the counter said they closed at 8 and that I arrived 3 minutes before closing and they were out of some items. I then proceeded to order the 3 rib bones after being told they were out of rib tips(since they were about to close) On the folded paper menus in front of the cash register, their website, and a laminated menu also at the register, the price is $12.00. The guy shows me the screen on clover register because the new price is now $16 + tax. Okay, inflation cost, I get it; but now your website isn't update nor your menu. Lastly, I got my food, the ribs wasn't even sauced and I got more bone than ribs for $17 and some change that I spent. 1: The menu's are paper. Please reprint them with the updated prices. If you can update the clover cash register, you can also update the website. 2: I have no problem paying for the inflated cost of food service but because I have to pay the inflated cost, I expect a decent quality of ribs. I seriously left Publix moments earlier and a whole rack of ribs were $15.12. Of course the restaurant put in effort to cook their ribs but what I got was 3 boney, not too great tasting of unsauced ribs. The smokey flavor was there if you want to taste the smoke. I didn't smell a grill outside so I cant provide anymore detail on that. And I'm really not sure if sauce was to come with the ribs or not, the menu didn't state but with the inconsistency of the menu, who knows what to believe. Because this area already lack quality food places, I may try them again when the reviews are better. Until then, spend your money wisely and please read the reviews. The customer service was definitely lacking for no one to be in the building when I arrived. I should have left and went back to Publix for a frozen meal after the 2nd red flag, wrong menu prices, but I ignored the signs. :(

Visited Monday June 27, 2022. Ordered chicken chunks something like pulled, chopped chicken, Mac and cheese, baked beans and collard greens. Each food item was horrible. Greens were bitter and nasty. Meat was very dry, Mac and cheese was not Mac and cheese and the baked beans had an odd taste. I have eaten at this location before and the food was decent which is why I went back. Well never again. Maybe they changed cooks not sure but the food was horrible and tasteless. I don’t like giving out bad reviews but how can a restaurant improve if they don’t hear from the people.

Dry ribs and chicken slathered in sauce. No seasoning. Faint smoked taste. Probably parboiled beforehand. Empty parking lot at 4pm. No need to rate sides, bbq was what I came for.The weren't good anyway. ?Update: I've noticed the owner doesn't respond to reviews, good or bad. They could at least acknowledge theirCustomers concerns. That is all.

I bought fam from out of town here and it was so disappointing. The prices are whatever they say at the moment and they arent going by the menu. We called and they told us one price, got there & a lady at the front told us something $4 more expensive. Also had to go to their car to get us change. Was hoping the Food was at least good. Was Not.

We love the one in hapeville. This one will get there too.. Greens were great, Brunswick Stew was lacking flavor. We will definitely keep them in rotation

0 stars!!!!!! Ordered online and even arrived a few mins late order was not even started on. Waited addt 20-30 mins... while waiting for food another customer sent someone back 3x times for incorrect order! Received order and was told they didn't have two of the items (told after I received food). Cornbread was spoiled ... food was nasty!!! Threw it all away... very disappointed!

Placed an order online , just to have someone contact me to refund my order because they only have two sides available from my entire order. This is sad and NOTHING like the Hapeville location. So much for trying to support your local businesses. I will wait until I get off of work, travel home to visit the Hapeville location.
