Doesn’t pay attention to details! The food tastes pretty good but the employees or order takers consistently get orders wrong. Last week I ordered pepper steak without rice, just cabbage. Took my to-go order home, guess what, whole heap of rice, very little cabbage! Today I ordered chicken soup without potatoes. Got the food home, and soup is loaded with potatoes. Please Ruth’s, I really want to support your establishment but try to do better. Your customers orders and the details are very important. I don’t like paying for food only to throw it away because it’s something I don’t eat and have requested not to be included. Not getting my order right doesn’t make me feel important to you as a customer. Thank you.

This my first time trying this spot. So I order jerk chicken rice & peas with cabbage, extra oxtail gravy.. My chicken was dry , Didn’t get any cabbage, nor was oxtail gravy on my rice. To be honest didn’t taste like Jamaican food at all.. what a waste of money never again

Brown stew chicken from here is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before, so delicious!! I get it over and over again <3 I also like the curry kitchen. I order a small but the portion size is more than enough, especially for the price. The food is also always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is spotless, and decor appealing. I also meet the best people to chat with in the few minutes while I wait for my food, so that’s always great. I highly recommend this Jamaican Diner, so delicious!!

The husband is Jamaican, and is really picky about Jamaican food. He tried this- got the oxtail. He loved it. Additionally, it wasn't crazy expensive (one place in McDonough charged $15 more for less!) Definitely will be back. Place is clean, has inside & outside eating areas.

I've been going here for about a year and get the jerk dinner every time. It's always delicious and consistent! The jerk sauce is a blend of sweet bbq sauce with mild spice jerk seasoning instead of the traditional jerk rub but it's delicious! The chicken is always tender and perfectly cooked. The cabbage is crispy and has fresh vegetables! And the people are nice.

Oxtail was VERY dry and not fresh the gravy had more grease than gravy. Very disappointing for $24 for oxtail plate when threw half of it away.

I’ve ordered from here twice already and the food is so good. I had the brown stew fish both times and I’m obsessed! Really nice restaurant and the customer service was good as well. Definitely will be returning to try more items on the menu.

First eating here been wanting to try it I called in two oxtail plates! I hate yo leave reviews like this but the food just ain’t Jamaican enough for me there is not Jamaican flavor. The service was cool and I was able to call in but the food is not giving Jamaican at all.
The atmosphere upon entering was calm. I ordered a spinach patty but was given a meat patty. Didn’t realize until I bit into it and I’m vegan… had to take Benadryl and pray I don’t sick. I went back in and the gave me a vegetable patty. The crust is authentic but it was full of air. Not much vegetables in there. Also, they don’t label their patties and that mistake wouldn’t have happened if they labeled their products!When going back in to tell them about the error, the phone was ringing and no one picked it up. That’s why I couldn’t get through when I called. No one was in the front for customer service calls.My daughter ordered a large brown stew chicken with rice and vegetables. She said out of 10, she would rate it a 9. The portion size was good for her as well. The rice had a strong coconut taste that was overpowering yet tasty. Just a heads up.I would’ve given it 5 stars but that error was a huge error on their part.Dietary restrictions: Offers spinach and vegetable patties. Not sure about the rest of the menu. Would love to see more vegan items. I’m allergic to coconut and nuts so I wouldn’t be able to eat from there.Parking: A decent amount of parking but it’s tight if there’s a rush. Be careful entering the lot because it’s a hill and you will scrape your car entering.
