The wait was very slow despite it being pretty empty. It was awkwardly quiet inside and I just really wanted to get my food and go. However, the host and hostesses my family and I usually get are pretty nice. Food was decent. I wouldn’t come here on the regular, but it’s a nice place for a small celebration or just a nice family outing.

Today, 7/23/22, between 1p to 3p was my second visit with a group of 10+ adults; Christie G was our server. Great location, nice staff, but the food was bland. Whomever made the coleslaw used vinegar instead of mayo and it was disgusting. The catfish was crisp, and golden, but absolutely no seasoning. I hope they get it right before the dinner crowd, because they're gone to raise hell. We enjoyed our fellowship time with family, so no one from our group uttered a negative word to the staff. I'm not sure I'll ever return.

This place is DISGUSTING!! My grandma has loved eating here ever since they opened but we will NOT be going back. She got a baked potato with her meal and it had THREE dead roaches in it!! The server took the plate and they didn’t even offer to bring her a new potato or offer any kind of apology. AND THEN THE OWNER WAS HATEFUL TO MY GRANDMA AND THEY STILL MADE HER PAY FOR IT BECAUSE “it’s normal for bugs to come in the potato’s” !!!! 10/10 would NOT recommend eating here!

This used to be one of my favorite seafood restaurants that wasn’t too commercial but boy has it changed. Even before the pandemic I noticed that the prices were increasing and the volume of food was decreasing. The wings are good as an appetizer. The fish didn’t seem too fresh and the restaurant was lacking cleanliness. Our server Jennifer was awesome.

The prices were decent but the food was below average. I ordered crab legs and my husband ordered the popcorn shrimp. We were both less than satisfied with our order and the quality of the food. Prices are good, but you get what you pay for at this location. Service was decent though and staff was friendly.

Went to Silver Bay on a Saturday night. We arrived at 8:00p and were immediately seated. John came up and got the drink order after 5 minutes. He brought the drinks right out. He said that he was coming back to take our order and never came back!!!! I saw him take the order for 2 other tables including drinks, hush puppies, meals and tickets all within 30 minutes while I still sat there waiting for our order to be taken. We got up and left and SURPRISE...no one noticed!! Never coming back again!! Worse service ever!!!

Visited this restaurant after a long hard day at work with a coworker. The waitress was very pleasant and honest which was much appreciated. My coworker tasted her food first and was very displeased as all of it was very bland. Upon testing mine it too was bland. We voiced our concern to the waitress who had the manager to come to our table. The manager comes over and my coworker voices her concerns and states she doesn't want any of the meal. The manager went on to explain that they season their food lightly due to health issues such as high blood pressure or diabetes that their patrons may have. She quickly removed the food from the table and placed it on a dirty table which they were cleaning. The entire time she was cleaning she kept giving us the side eye. I've patronized this restaurant several times before and the food has always been delicious; however, this time not so much. My thoughts are that those with medical conditions would be more selective of where and what they eat as they dine out. My second thought is that Silver Bay can create a healthy selection on their menu as to not punish all of their customers by the lack of seasoning. I will not visit here again; I work too hard for my money to not be pleased with my purchases
I have eaten here countless of times.. It's always consistent.. The prices are amazing and the food is good... I can come get broiled fish.. Multiple options for a great price... Veggies are hit and miss but I won't hold it against them... Hush puppies are good too... Service is good and I have nothing bad to say about Silver Bay,

Some of best seafood I've eaten in years! Perfectly seasoned and large portions. Miranda kept our tea glasses filled and checked on us frequently. Definitely 5 stars!

Food and service not as good it was before Pandemic not enough waitress had a large party should have been two waiting the party room there was over 30 of us charge 25 % tip to everyone celebrating my anniversary l ask waitress when she introduced herself do you still bring hush puppies to the table she reply in a nasty voice I will when I take your drink orders and we only had the room for 2 hours now are you ready for me to take your drink orders I said yes she left came
