Date of meal April 1, 2024, ordered two hickory smoked pork, spare ribs plates with cornbread muffins Black Eyed Peas and collard greens. The cornbread muffins were like bricks, the Black Eyed Peas tasted like they came out of a can and the barbecue ribs was dry as leather. I do not recommend this Stockbridge location if you have a taste for barbecue ??????????

I always enjoy the consistency of their collard greens, macaroni, cheese, and potato salad. Today I had turkey wings. They were a bit salty so I could not finish them however, the collard greens, potato salad and cornbread was top-tier.

An excellent soul food of the South experience. An incredible menu to choose with all the soul food classics available from such as whiting fish, chitelings, liver and onions, BBQ, chicken and waffles, corn bread, black eye peas, and peach cobler. The whole catfish (2) is available for a good price. Very delicious with excellent breading. Sides of collard greens and Mac and rice very good also. Very friendly staff and socializing customers. Gospel music to entertain.

Just found this place on google. Really wanted to try their stuffed turkey wings/bites. Very unprofessional. The female with piercings in her face was fixing food for her mom (she stated that out loud). She never greeted me & my wife. We stood there for about 7-8 min, waiting patiently. The cook was asked a question in regards to having additional wings, his response was (i’m doing something already, as if he was irritated), im new to georgia and was just trying to get a feel of the restaurants around my new living area. This was a horrible experience. The employees & manager needs to go to some classes that teaches them professionalism and teach the manager how to hire the proper employees, who would represent their business in the best way. Would not recommend at all. Go to another restaurant. I’m all supporting my black businesses, but they make all it hard for others with the type of behavior that they are used to displaying. The receptionists at the the was super nice and apologized, im quite sure she heard and witnessed what was happening. I know she couldn’t do anything about it. Needless to say, you’re better off spending your hard earned $30 somewhere else?

The prices are going up but the portions are getting smaller. The food is good but the last time I ate there I ordered the rib tips and I was extremely disappointed with the portion compared to the price. Will not be going

Walked in to get dinner. Stood there locked eyes with all staff up front and not a word. No greeting or anything. I walked up and down looking at what food was available and no one ever offered me service. Some of the staff were extremely loud up front but it’s definitely giving rudeness and they don’t want to work!!

This was my first trip to This Is It, and I have to say I was pleased with the service I received the staff was helpful and friendly and the food was especially tasty! It has a cafeteria style atmosphere (located in a strip mall), so if you're looking for fine dining you may want to go somewhere else, but if you're interested in home style southern cooking that's not overly salted/seasoned this is a place you should try! Oh yes and I'll be going back again!Parking: Numerous parking spaces
