Came here and we were pleasantly surprised The cook was there with her kids and she mentioned the meat was fresh from their farm and tailored a vegetarian dish with injera ( miserfit was the best) and lamb tibs for my friend. We left very full ! Wish there were more greens and possibly chicken or fish options. A mini grocery store and videos of Ethiopia. Loved the cook/ server , very nice. It sure beats all the fried food in the area.

I saw this restaurant while traveling on Hairston Rd. It is behind the Chevron gas station off Memorial Drive. Mina waited on me, she was very helpful. I ordered the vegetarian platter (gomen, beets, cabbage wat, salad) for one, shirt and the lamb rib ribs. It was all absolutely delicious, well seasoned and cooked just right. Portions are good. I am very familiar with Ethiopian food, and this food is definitely above average. Paid about $26. Sorry, I didn't think to take pictures at the time, but since I am returning for more, I will post those pictures. You can also purchase bulk fresh coffee beans, Ethiopian spices, butter, charcoal, incense, drinks and small cooking appliances. Also of note, this restaurant can provide fresh goat, lamb or beef meat by order, direct from their farm. See their complete menu in the photos. (2 pages)
