This review isn’t per se on the Food because I’ve had it several times and I’ve always enjoyed the food at this location. I spoke with someone on July 10, 2023, after I placed the order online just to get to the location and see that it was closed. The owner was inside so I called she told me that they would get my money back and call Corporate at that time. I still haven’t received my money. I’ve been trying to speak with Corporate. They won’t call me back after leaving my name, number and email address. I have no way of getting my money back. Does anyone have a way of getting in touch with anybody so I can get my money back? HELP PLEASE!

This location does not value customers. They expect YOU to spend your time handling a dispute between them and Groupon.I purchased my Groupon Sept 2022 for dinner that night. I called to order. I was rudely told I could not order over the phone. It was so rude, I called Groupon immediately for a refund. I was informed Dickey's Groupons were non refundable.Jan 1, 2023 after a two hour flight and hungry, I decided to stop at Dickey's on my way home. Imagine my surprise when on the door it indicated, Groupons are not accepted at this location. It is the only location for this Groupon, the address is correct.I go in and ask for a manager. I ask her to explain the sign about no Groupons accepted. She claims that Groupon has been running this coupon for two years without their permission. The manager claims that they have done so much to get Groupon to stop. I told her how Groupon told me it is non refundable. She politely told me it was my responsibility to get Groupon to refund my money. Dickey's because of this location has lost me as a customer before I was even a customer. As a small business owner, I would never have a customer be inconvenienced by fighting my battles. If they needed to take legal action, that's what they should have done in these two years. I suspect there is more to the story. It will make them lose customers especially for those like me that are spreading the word. While Dickey's has lost my business, Groupon not yet. I explained the situation to the Groupon representative. He has escalated the trouble ticket. I will see how Groupon handles now that they know the details.UPDATE: Groupon have me a credit on my account.

I've only been here once but the brisket and sides were really good! I'm sad because I've tried to go two times this month (7/23) and they were closed - but had a "Help Wanted" sign on the door. Please let me know if this is a temporary thing to re-group or if you are closing. I had to drive a bit, so I've given up until I hear otherwise. Thanks!

They appear to be toast. The service was a bit inconsistent, but that's true for most places these days. The food was good (usually), and the on-line specials made it a good deal. I went by today and the chairs were stacked, and only a cleaning crew was there. RIP Dickies Stone Mountain, 7/13/23.

2nd time visiting this location. First time, I was greeted when I walked in the door, but then ignored while I waited at the counter to place my order. I guess protocol is to wait until employees finish their personal conversations. The brisket was good though. Today at 7/8/23 (Saturday) at 12:43 pm, stopped by again to give them another try because I wanted the brisket again and the door is locked— doesn’t appear to be any workers inside during hours this location is supposed to be open. Sigh. I tried to support this business, but guess I’ll have to take my money and business elsewhere.

If I could rate it a zero, I would. This was my 2nd time visiting this location. I only returned because it's nearby and the brisket I got the first time was good. First time I visited two weeks ago, I was greeted when I walked in the door, but then ignored while I waited at the counter near the register to place my order. I guess protocol is to wait until employees finish their personal conversations. Two employees (a girl with braids ) and a guy stood in the middle of the kitchen behind the counter and continued their conversation as if I wasn't standing there. Finally, the guy says "ma'am do you know what you want."I said "yes." (Hell, I walked in the door knowing what I wanted.) You would think that would have ended the personal convo and someone would have immediately came over to take my order. Didn't happen. I stood there near the register for a few more minutes and eventually the girl put on gloves and came over to take my order. I told her I only wanted a half pound of brisket sliced to go. She then instructed me to move down to the other end of the counter. Not sure why it was so important where I stood while she prepared my order. Other than a gentleman sitting in the restaurant eating, I was the only other customer I'm the restaurant. When I moved down to the other end, she asked me again for my order. Sigh! The only good thing about this visit was that the brisket was good. 2nd visit: Saturday, 7/8/23 at 12:43 pm, I was out running my errands, so I stopped by again to give them another try because I wanted the brisket again. Walked up to the door and the door is locked-- doesn't appear to be any workers inside during hours this location is supposed to be open. I tried to support this business, but guess I'll have to take my money and business elsewhere.

Been meaning to try it this place and went it for today. Had it delivered and even via delivery the food was pretty fresh and tasty. We were missing a part of our order but honestly, the quality made up for it. Brisket was very good. Sausage was excellent. Sides were pretty good too. Will probably hit it again.

My ribs were delicious and easily came off the bone, fries were crispy and that spicy bbq sauce was AMAZING.

I went to Themis establishment early when they first opened. I got a rib plate for $22. Later that day my card was charged for $113! Someone is scamming!

Food was great!! I drove from Brookhaven to get a BBQ Baked Potato and it was worth the drive. Very filling and the customer service was great. Will definitely be back. Chanita was great!

Shameful excuse for a meal.First off, how does a BBQ restaurant send out a meal without bbq sauce? It’s inconceivable that something like this could happen. It’s literally the entire point of the restaurant. I had to resort to using my own dipping sauce that I found in the back of my fridge that was a month expired. The brisket was borderline inedible. Cold, tough, stringy. I'll be picking it out of my teeth for the next 2 weeks. Would be nice if Dickey's offered dental insurance with every order but that might be asking too much.If it wasn’t for the chicken, which was deliciously juicy and tender, I’d have been going hungry tonight. It really carried the meal and was the only saving grace. In my opinion stick to the chicken, mac, and green beans and you’ll have a good time. Otherwise go elsewhere. I bet Jim n Nicks wouldn’t serve you dry meat.
