Sorry to see Sarah's Kitchen has been permanently closed. They went out of business about 3 weeks ago. This was such a wonderful soul restaurant. Sweet Potato Cafe is right down the street, so I would definitely recommend going there if you are looking for a great place with similar food. [Review #655] (10th Review of 2022)

We were climbing Stone mountain and got hungry. So we went to Sarah's Kitchen. Now back at some mountain park eating it. My kids (5 and 7) say this is the best food they've ever had. We love this place. Definitely going back

The food was good taste like I was in my grandma's kitchen ☺️

I love ❤️ supporting and patronizing black owned business. This restaurant is a hidden gem ?. I wanted to get some soul food from a place I never visited before. I was searching and found this place glad I did. It’s not to far away either right in Stone Mountain ? off a Main Street. Once you pass the health food store at the next street light ?take a left once you pass the tattoo shop on the right. Once you take a left you go down the street and see the blue building on the corner name on the front you park in the back behind the place. This is a fried chicken plate dark with two sides and a corn muffin that didn’t make it home.Mac and cheese and dressing with cranberry sauce.

Changing my review because they were willing to make it up and my partner let me know they were willing to but was just out of potato salad.

The food was delicious, filling, and flavorful. Awesome place if you are lactose intolerant. They really went beyond expectations to accommodate me and to be certain they weren't serving me any milk products. I had the baked white meat chicken, black eyed peas, and cabbage. I'd give ten stars if I could! ❤️

Not bad, not standout either. Food was ok, mostly bland, fried chicken was under seasoned.

A real good home style cooked meal. We enjoyed the turkey wing with dressing and fried chicken. Service was nice as well!

The food was overly seasoned ,pork chop was tough greens under cooked and dressing nothing to brag about. Last but not least the peach cobbler it had three day old bread in it. Wouldn't eat there again .

The food was great AND the customer service was fantastic. It's hard to find that. I will be returning!

I stumbled upon this restaurant literally. Think I was on Google Maps somehow pressed "Restaurants" while searching for where I was trying to go and I saw a 4.7/5 stars overall Google review for soul food restaurant. Customer service is BEYOND!!! So nice, felt like family. An older woman came in behind me and after the cashier (I feel like he was the owner or something but very humble about it to not mention it- again family feel) completed my order movement he greeted this woman by her first name. Food was great. Had my heart set on the smothered Turkey wings (they use brown gravy FYI. I'm a fan of cream gravy but their brown gravy is very tasty) and the cashier who I think is the owner was honest that the remaining Turkey wings were not presentable and he recommended the fried pork chops which are made to order. I came in about five minutes to closing. The fried pork chop was good, not heavy on the breading and gravy is optional. I chose gravy on the side. They allowed me to have a sample of the Mac and cheese which I wasn't a fan of. It wasn't bad just not my preference. I like a dry cheesy Mac and cheese. Theirs is wet (not creamy like Chick Fil A wet) but very moist if that makes sense. Cornbread dressing which was amazing despite no meat or additional fillings added. None of their sides include meat so collard greens, green beans, Lima beans, etc do not have meat. Had their Arnold Palmer which was very good and sweet. They were sold out of peach cobbler and strawberry cake my two favs but I will DEFINITELY visit and support this bomb restaurant again. Sorry I demolished my food before thinking to take a picture for this review but food and packaging very good. Also meal includes two sides and cornbread muffin.

1st time at this place. It's jus a little blue house. Blink and you will pass right by it! Had the fresh fried chicken, meatloaf and smothered pork chop! Mac-n-cheese, collard greens, yams, corn bread and black-eyed peas! Friendly people and great great food.
