Atmosphere is a bit on the Bar side than a beer garden. Their take on a Hefeweizen was a bit tart and watery. Not that smooth Paulaner Heffe one may be used to..the wife and two kids all did not like the food. I was dissatisfied with the “brown gravy” that came with my snitzel it appeared to be made with a gelatin of some sort watery and lacked flavor. Spatzel was not seasoned or flavored at all. Overall not anything near authentic. More of cheap bar food… the large pretzel was great and best part of the meal.Review coming from someone who travels to Germany regularly for work and just got back from a two week trip just before the holidays. If you’re looking for German there are far better options.

I love the people that work here. They are awesome. Helpful and very knowledgeable about the drinks and the food. my favorite has to be the beer flight.Parking: Never had a problem finding parking here even when it is busy downtown.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly they even have board games that you and the kids can play.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, this place is wheelchair assessable.
What a charming small business. I love that they have different daily specials, and that kids eat free with adults on Tuesday. The staff works incredibly hard and the food is always fresh because they don't even have a microwave!! Highly recommend. The Reuben is the best I've had.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free with adult meal on Tuesdays and they have coloring books for all of the littles.

The service was nice but the food was far from authentic. The gravy was gelatinous and had a strange after taste with literally only one mushroom in it. The schnitzel was very crunchy and dry. The bratwurst was more like a Weißwurst and the pretzel roll had a odd smell and taste almost like black licorice. On top of that the fries were over seasoned with a overwhelming concoction of spices. They should just stick to their brewery and distillery.

Sunday All You Can eat Buffet is a MUST. Best biscuits and gravy - better than my Grandma's. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is casual and bar-type, but it IS a distillery. Their desserts are made fresh there and they're delicious. My favorite is the Chocolate flourless cake and the Hummingbird cake. Favorite appetizer is the chicken wings with raspberry sauce. The big pretzel is also delicious.Try the Rum; it's so smooth! All the beers and mixed drinks are delicious.They also have the coziest outdoor seating area where they have live entertainment every weekend.

Went for lunch and then back again for dinner another night.The first time was at lunch with my mother-in-law who lived in Germany and she fell in love with the goulash. Said it tasted just like the one they used to have.The second time was with hubby, and you know if there's a big pretzel, we gotta try it. ?? Alice's fried mushrooms were spot on, and the meatballs were just right. Great on the seasoning and not drowned in sauce, they harmoniously worked.Next time, we'll have to save room for their in-house desserts.

Wish I had found this Reuben sandwich sooner! Highly recommend their food, our entire family enjoys this restaurant and in the afternoons it's a great place to grab a beer. The service has always been wonderful, the atmosphere is laidback and friendly and my children are obsessed with the fresh cakes on the dessert menu. Grab a Ruben sandwich, you won't be sorry!

The food is delicious- whomever makes their sauces is a master of flavor- raspberry with cheese curds? Fantastic!!! The beer cheese is also on another level—trust me— I’m from Wisconsin. Best spot for German food & a good botanical G&T.Parking: Location is easy to get to.
