I was craving some Korean food in the area and saw this place and decided to give it a try. I honestly did not have much expectations, but when I ordered the bean paste soup, the side dishes that came were surprisingly so delicious that reminded me of my grandmother's home cooking. The bean paste soup had a deep savory flavor that properly represented true Korean taste. My husband ordered kimchi stew and that definitely had a kick of spice with also deep cultured flavor as well. I'm not sure what was tastier the side dishes or the main entree, but I will definitely be stopping by more often.

This place is under new management. I've never been to the old restaurant so I don't know how much it changed but this place needs some improving. The interior is definitely older but not trashy but considering the newer options out there, I would imagine they want to be competitive. One thing missing was a lunch menu. The prices are on par with other Korean restaurants but those other places usually have a lunch menu. They have a few $10 items but most items are $14-15 and some higher. The interior isn't dirty so I guess that's a plus. It can seat around 24ish outside and they have several rooms with sliding doors that can seat around 20ish or so. The waitress (who I think is the owner) wasn't mean nor friendly. She never checked on us for anything. We had to flag her down for everything. Even when her friends came to eat at the table next to us, she never checked on us. That's not attentive service. Aside from her 2 friends, our party of 3 were the only customers. I think she a one man show, which may add to the emotional disarray. The bulgogi ($14) came with a hearty portion but it was like eating dried rubber bands. My jaws hurt at the end. The stone pot bibimbap ($14) looked average. The other dish we ordered was the lamb stew ($13 or something). My friend said it was good. The side dishes were good and she refilled them upon request. Overall, I think they have some tweaking to do and a lunch menu would help.
