We love Don Bonachon! It's a great place to get food Mexican food with the family. The food and service are both wonderful!

Went into Don Bonachon around 11:30 a.m on St. Patrick’s Day. We were the first table in there and the service was the worst I think I’ve ever gotten anywhere. I couldn’t tell you the servers name, because she never told us. Our food came out and I just needed some hot sauce quick and she just kept making eye contact with me from the kitchen while eating something and then scurrying away to still not come and check on us. The hostess and bartender ended up coming over to pre bus the table. And at this point, there were 3 other tables in there with us so it wasn’t busy or I’d be way more understanding, being that I’m in the service industry myself. We then sat for another 10 minutes after our plates were cleared and we were very obviously done, for her to bring our check. But she didn’t. I had to go and stand at the bar and wait for her to come and ask what I needed. The hostess was the one to then drop the check. We paid and left. The food was okay for the price we paid, but the service alone is the reason I won’t be returning. I can understand service not being top tier if the restaurant is super busy, but this was the complete opposite.

Great place for a meal and drinks. Service is always outstanding. Food is good. Drinks are excellent and the prices cant be beat. They have live music on weekends. Great deserts as well. One of my favorite resturaunts in all of Georgia.

This is my second time here. First time was for dinner with a group of friends, a few years ago, and we stayed until close.Today, we came for lunch and to watch a game. Unfortunately, drinks and food were average this time around. I ordered the veggie bowl - plantains were good, and veggies seemed to be slighlty oily/ greasy. Also, I've had better/ tastier Micheladas.My husband ordered the steak fajita and overall was fine with the taste but mentioned the minimal portions for guacamole, sour cream and Pico were too small for the plate.My daughter ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings, there seemed to be more lemon pepper on the plate than on the actual wings... definitely nothing to write home about.Server was nice, efficient, open to feedback.
