As an appetizer I had the dumplings, which were starchy (in a good way, for me) with a bean paste that's on the sweeter side (not my preference). For entrees, I tried the stew, which felt a little chalky and the seasoned tofu, which was fantastic. The fermented accompaniments and rice were not my favorite. I'd only order the tofu again.

Delicious, vegan Korean food!Came here on a very cold day. Craving some soup. This restaurant is completely self-serve, including ordering at the counter or kiosk, picking up your own food/utensil/water, and dropping off your trays when done. The hostess was nice enough when I was ordering.Ambience is very private with multiple booths. It's very cozy in here. I got the tofu Parilla soup, which was absolutely delicious. My first time trying it, and the flavors were spot on. I do prefer it more mild, and there are different condiments and sauces. You can add if you want more flavor. It came with a small amount of banchan. I left satisfied and happy. Entrées were all very affordable between $12 and $15 each for a good portion. There's also no tipping since it is a self-serve restaurant.Overall, definitely a great option if you are looking for vegan/vegetarian food in the area.

I ordered the perilla tofu soup. Another dish we ordered was the vegetarian dumpling soup. Food can be ordered by self service. The serving staff were helpful and provided soy sauce.

This is a great gem for vegan diets-- which means that it's also friendly for those with seafood/shellfish allergies! Vegan Korean food is pretty limited, but this place has a concentrated menu packed full of flavor. They have a kiosk-self serve system. Most of the items had English labels, but some were just in Korean. There was a staff member who was welcoming and asked if we had any questions. The kimchi and veggie dumpling soups were so comforting. The spicy tofu cutlet was our favorite. The portions here are very generous. We look forward to trying the other dishes!

(There seems to be 2 google listings for this restaurant so im copying my review so it can be on both)Stopped here on my way home from a trip to North Carolina. I had researched it before and went out of my way to stop by. Very glad I did.I ordered a lot of food because I didnt realize each dish came with extras. I had the tofu steak, dumpling soup and small acorn jelly. It was a FEAST and I loved it. Everything went so well together and it was all so fresh. Especially since the tofu and dumplings are house made. The food was great and the woman at rhe counter wqs very kind and helpful. I was the only non korean when I walked in but her friendlyness put me at ease.

There was an older woman there putting on makeup when myself and my companion arrived. She did greet me but did continue applying makeup on top of her less than attractive attitude. Let me just say, you can't just throw lipstick on a pig....I stood there and waited for her to finish. Then, a group of individuals walked in behind me. The lady then proceeded to let me know that I should use the kiosk to order my food. My companion and I looked at the kiosk that was covered in signs that said, "Stop, don't order." We then let her know there were signs. Her response was, "Take it down!". She then attempts to take the orders of the other individuals. They were kind and let me in front of them to order after witnessing how rude she was.... Now, by this time, my companion left the restaurant in disgust and refused to eat here. I continued to order because we had driven an hour to get there. I was also hungrier than a bear out of hibernation! We were so disappointed and were really looking forward to enjoying food from another culture. But hey, can't win em all.

Instant favorite! The portions are huge. Can’t believe other people didn’t finish their banchans bc we licked all our dishes clean. The noodles are perfectly chewy, the soups were hot and flavorful and not too salty. I also like the self service system. Vegan Korean food are so hard to find this is truly vegan heaven. Can’t wait to come back and try all the other items.

This is the real review! Food, very fresh very healthy... very bland. Their own made tofu wasn't pressed and marinated. It was coated in a great sauce and pan fried. Their seaweed soup included smelled horrible but I tried it and was bland. kimchi was GREAT, best I've had.Service: she was very helpful and tried helping us make a decision from their menu. Very nice people making it hard to leave an honest review. Ambiance I've seen 5/5 on other reviews.... 2/5 is honest. It's a hodgepodge restaurant equipment that doesn't make sense. This restaurant has a little theme going from pictures on the wall that stops at the wall. While I was there, no one cleaned their plates. I've seen more food go to their waste than eaten! It's sad because they have incredible produce and it's bland. They do not press & marinate their tofu, so it's bland. I had high hopes from reviews and hearing they grow their own farm vegetables and make their own tofu, I was let down majorly. Sorry but I will not be coming back to eat here but will buy their tofu

We ordered three different meals: spicy tofu steaks, vegetable noodle soup, and a vegetable rice bowl. All were great, but the tofu in particular was some of the best I've ever had (also, not particularly spicy but still quite flavorful). Massive portions also as others mentioned!
