We were passing through the Swainsboro area. We found this hidden gem. We ordered the fish and shrimp dinner plus a strawberry lemonade. The food was absolutely delicious! The fish and shrimp were so fresh and cooked to perfection!Oh my ....the homemade strawberry lemonade was amazing! I am only upset that I didn't order more food! We will definitely return!
I was craving fish and it's not easy to find in Swainsboro. I found this place and let them know it was my first time. The girl was quick to offer both menus they had and offered many suggestions and specials. I got the fish and shrimp with cheese grits, fried okra and hush puppies. The cook made sure I was taken care of and asked if wanted condiments and asked if I would try it before adding sauces. OMG ya'll I actually called the place and told them how good it was. (And I didn't use the sauce.) The hush puppies were so good, the fish was seasoned perfectly with a great batter (not heavy) and the shrimp were big. Both ladies were all smiles and friendly! I'll definitely be back!
They have just a little hut that you walk up to the window and order your food. I get the fried cat fish dinner. It’s super delicious, it’s always hot and fresh because they cook your food to order. A must try when you’re in small town Swainsboro!

Stopped by to grab a quick bite and I'm so glad I did! My catfish and tilapia combo with the sweet potato fries, hushpuppies, and that homemade coleslaw was on point! I washed it down with some ice cold strawberry lemonade, but the icing on the cake was the banana pudding!! OMG it's out of this world DUHLUSHUS! Do yourself a favor and get OFF THE HOOK! ?
Staffing was very friendly, food was excellent. We drove from Springfield, Ga. for the races and was looking for something to eat. Better than expected, highly recommend. ??⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are camping in the area and wanted a real meal. This place had great reviews and I can see why. That might be the best slaw I've ever had. Green beans can often be just a so-so side but these were dressed up with the right seasoning to make them special. So often fish and shrimp are ruined by the oil they carry to the table. Not so here. Her recipes are worthy of note. This lady could be going places. I just wish it was my town. I hope to be back soon.

It's so funny that you commented on our post yesterday. We happened to be going back through Swainboro almost a year later and wanted to visit you again. Alas, we see that you are not open on Wednesdays (the day of our drive). Oh well. We can try again sometime in the future (we don't live around Swainsboro). We're glad to see you are still making many people happy with your yummy food.

Stopped in on our way to Carnesville. I had the sautéed shrimp and fish and my sis had catfish. Everything was prepared fresh and was delicious! Sweet potato fries, hush puppies and fried okra were amazing. Nothing was greasy. All the staff were very friendly and kind. She even left us her phone Playlist so we had music while dining! Thanks for being there! God bless you and your families!
A hidden gem and a great find, definitely off the hook! The seafood boil was more than enough, flavorful and crab legs cooked to perfection! Hospitality was personable as well! We will be back!
