“Lived in Thomasville for 7 years now. My wife and I decided to try it for our anniversary. I am not a seafood person but they had many options that were amazing. My wife has a good allergy and. When our appetizer was brought out it had lemon on it by mistake.The server and others were very apologetic and fixed it right away and did a fantastic job to make sure the rest of the food was correct. I cannot express how amazing the staff was and how accommodating they were. The food was so excellent. The manger was even polite and was amazing. This place will for sure be a favorite of ours and made our anniversary very special. Thank you so much to the staff and our server Autrey. The oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the Korean wings, and the Sticky ribs were quite nice as well.Then came the entrées...We were a bit disappointed here because the quality of the meats and fish was very good. Everything was cooked beautifully and incredibly fresh. Unfortunately, all of us found our mains to be too salty, with the exception of the fish, which was quite bland.Overall, we found the oysters and appetizers to be strong enough contenders that we'd come back for those, but the mains needed a bit of work.”

“We decided to eat in. They have wait staff who will take your order and serve you or you can get carry out. Husband ordered a sweet tea, biscuits and sausage gravy and I ordered and ice water and the breakfast bowl with buttery grits, shredded cheese and an egg with a side of bacon. The food was delicious and served within a good time frame. My dish came with the bacon in it rather on the side, but after letting them know before they walked away, they corrected it quite quickly. I didn't get a photo of mine because I dug right into it. Two thumbs up! Note prices have increased based on the menus they have available in the photos previously posted. Two pc French toast went from $4 to $5.50, as one example. My husband and I ate for less than $20. Their restroom is a tiny space, but they have good hand soap, plenty of paper towels and tp & it was clean (aside from the floor that was a little sticky). Other than that, everything else was very clean in the entire place. Oh and the red velvet cupcakes looked sooo yummy, but I didn't get any. Next time.”

“One of the best places to eat in Thomasville! My family and I have been going for about 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The fact that they’re so consistent is plenty of reason to go but there’s also the food and the staff.It’s family owned and all of the staff are always very friendly and try to check on you often and refill drinks, chips, ask about the food, as well as not rush you to get out if you’re talking to friends or family. There’s almost always a fútbol game on the tv and usually music playing if there isn’t a game. There’s great natural light during the day and at night the lights inside aren’t blinding but plenty enough to see everything. The decorations are really nice and the artwork on the chairs and booths is really cool.Honestly, hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The salsa and queso for the corn tortilla chips is always great, food always comes out hot (be careful of hot plates but they let you know when they bring them out) and we’ve never had any issues with substitutions or asking to remove certain things like lettuce, tomatos, onions, etc, as well as adding things. Almost every order comes with rice, beans, and a salad. I’m a huge fan of their tacos and enchiladas with any meat combination. My mom usually just orders the next number down on the menu from the last thing she got and has loved everything (she’s finished the menu a few times). Also probably some of the best refried beans I’ve had as well.If you haven’t been to La Fogata and are passing through Thomasville I definitely recommend that you go!”

“Wanting a birthday dinner outside of Tallahassee, I made a reservation a month in advance and was not disappointed. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was prompt, knowledgeable, and the right amount of attentive. We ordered one craft beer (they had just run out of the one I really wanted. Pro tip: try not to have two IPAs; the lager would have been nice) and then waited for our meals. Food didn't take long and we got to enjoy the art on the walls and cozy atmosphere. When our food arrived, everything was cooked perfectly. Steaks medium rare and sides really tasty. I don't regret ordering steak, though the older menu had some scallop dishes I had been eyeing beforehand. All in all, a very satisfying meal and I plan to return!”

“My four girlfriends and I visited George and Louie's Seafood for my Birthday Celebration yesterday for lunch. We had a lovely time. Several of us enjoyed the Grilled Grouper Sandwich and another lady loved the Mahi and Shrimp. The grilled asparagus that I got with my sandwich were crispy and to die for. Although the hushpuppies were not my grandma's they were good. The owner George came by several times to check on us and was very attentive to his patronage. I was very impressed by this old school dedication to high quality. He really wanted to make sure we were taken care of properly in every way. It was a fantastic experience.”

I wasn’t expecting much I was just really hungry after a long day.What I got was delicious authentic mexican food at a price that made me feel like I was taking advantage of them. “Passing through Thomasville Georgia at lunch time I wanted a buffet style lunch so I asked Google for buffet restaurant in Thomasville Ga. Thinking I would see a restaurant I knew. There weren't a wide selection to choose from so I thought I would take a chance on O'Neal's country buffet. It was a little off the beaten path, not to bad out of the way. When I arrived the first thing I noticed was the parking lot was full of cars which is always a good sign. I parked and went into the restaurant and right away was met with a very warm welcome by the beautiful and friendly young ladies running the registers. I paid for my meal and proceeded to the bar to fix my plate. As I began looking over the food I could clearly see the plate was no where large enough to handle all the food I wanted to get because it all look very delicious. I stacked all the plate could handle and this is the one part I would have to give less than a five star for which was not enough tables to seat all the people that were there. To be far there was a lot of people there and it appeared everyone one knew everyone else. I began eating the food I had selected and everything I ate was cooked to perfect, seasoned just right and nothing was over or under cooked. I could probably go on and on about the quality of the food but I will just say it was very good. The pricing was on mark, not to expensive, and the service was exceptional. “Absolutely amazing service! The ladies here make you feel like family! The food is super heavy, but it's filling. You get a lot of food for the money, and we almost always take home leftovers. It's a bit loud, but that's expected. Think of it like the noise of a family reunion--dialed back a few notches. People gather here with friends, family, business meals, and so much more. My go-to meal is two blueberry jalapeño pancakes with two medium poached eggs (yellow still runny, but white fully cooked). Add a little house-made hot sauce to the eggs, and it hits just right.”

Everything from the onion rings, coleslaw, hush puppies, fried shrimp, cat fish filets and green beans - were delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly; however, our steaks came out before we had taken 5 bites of our salads. This is the reason for a 4. We would have liked to take time to enjoy our salads first then receive our entree. We had red beans and rice, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Each had about two and a half spoons in each portion cup, (spoons you eat with). The two blackened chicken sandwich meals with an extra side of mashed potatoes was over 34 dollars and all though very good food it was definitely a small amount of food for the price. Roger went out of his way to lend us bikes and send on us a great ride down the red clay road. The staff on the Hops side were so friendly and made us feel right at home. “We were in town for spring break at a nearby cabin. We stopped the morning of leaving to get a quick breakfast. The food was DELICIOUS!! My kids had the quesadillas. I had the rose city sandwich, and my husband had a breakfast bowl. Everything was fresh and flavorful! The shop itself was homey, rustic, and inviting. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Definitely visit again when we come back.”

“The ambiance is wonderful! High ceilings, brick walls in one side and nicely painted walls on the other, clean kitchen and a great wait staff. I ordered the duck fat fried chicken wings with hot honey and bleu cheese. They were delicious! You have got to try the fried broccoli! It is a great way to get in your veggies. The hamburger was good. The philly cheesesteak on the grilled pretzel roll was worth ordering again! The manager is very hands on, making sure things run smoothly. She was even sweeping the floors and training one of her bartenders. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.”
