The atmosphere and service was nice, but my husband and I wanted to order smaller portions, and we got leftovers from someone else's order. The portions were smaller, but it was only enough to go on a little childs plate. I literally had 6 noodles on my plate. Yes, I counted them. My food was cold, and so was my husband's. This terrible experience has turned us off from wanting to fix Italian at home, and we love Italian food. I'm so disappointed and will not be back.

We enjoyed our dinner, however, I felt the service was very rushed. It was a quiet Wednesday night, and our food came out so quickly we were barely been served our appetizer when the next course (salads) arrived, and so on. I will go back again and perhaps let our server know that we are not in a hurry.

While visiting Thomasville for a few days we googled “local restaurants” and chose Mom & Dad’s. So glad we did! The zucchini appetizer, the salad, the manicotti and spaghetti were absolutely delicious! That sauce! The atmosphere was perfect and we couldn’t have had a better server. Highly recommend.

Mom & Dad's has always been a wonderful, comfortable dining experience with good food. Over the last year, the experience has improved with the addition of reservations for smaller parties and a seemingly more sophisticated waitstaff. Always excellent.

Our favorite Italian in a 50 mile radius. We live in Tallahassee and drive to Thomasville at least once a month for Mom & Dad's. The lasagna with homemade pasta is the best I have had (ask for extra meat sauce too.) I love their fresh fettuccine and Alfredo sauce as well. The ambiance is classy without being stuffy and the long term staff (Charlie and Mallory) are the best! The owners are hands on and extremely friendly and welcoming as well. The homemade cheesecakes are to die for and they have so many creative options. Full bar with a nice waiting area outside now; however, we always are typically able to get a last minute reservation online.

Since moving to SW Georgia we have been looking for a good Italian restaurant. This wasn't it. It is a lovely restaurant, but the food is only fair. The beer selection is poor, but the wine was good!

Went here for a birthday dinner. The food was fantastic, fresh, and hot. The bread was delicious as were the appetizers. Server was friendly and helpful. Loved the whole experience.
Went out for a mother daughter meal. We were pleased with the food and the service. We are new to the area and did feel like although we had reservations priority was given to the locals just walking in and we felt slightly rushed but it was a busy Saturday night so I’m sure they were just trying to accommodate everyone.

I visited there years ago and the food was great, but not anymore. Horrible, unbelievably bad food ! My lasagna was basically soup- didn't even know it could be made like that, & burnt black on top, served in a prepackaged looking metal container. My girlfriends spaghetti was like a can of spaghettios out of a can - unbelievable ! $50 for processed, burnt food - ridiculous ! On top of that, we had to keep asking our waitress for more drink refills. Definitely will not be going back there !!!

Quality of food is always excellent, and was on this visit. Service was superb. We asked to be seated in our server's area because Charlie is always the best. We love Mom and Dad's in Thomasville, and are frequent visitors there.

Server Brett was outstanding! He was knowledgeable about the menu, very accommodating, expedient and overall delightful! We ordered escargot as an appetizer and it was very tasty and enjoyable. My dining companion ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and I had veal Parmesan; both dishes were average at best. The marinara sauce was watery with minimal tomato taste, the noodles were cold and the veal was very tough. We are regulars and know what the kitchen is capable of producing but this visit they fell flat. The restaurant was extremely busy with every table filled but for me that is no excuse for average food to be served to diners.

Apps took 45 minutes for first one, longer for the next two. Salad appeared to be sitting in dressing all this time, lettuce was soggy. Veal was tough and difficult to cut but flavorful. Portion size for cost was not a good value.
