Quick take out lunch. Fried whiting was tasty and moist. Sides were all delicious. Cornbread was savory and perfectly balanced between moist and crumbly. I will be back.

Was in Toccoa for training today 02/13/2024. The food was so delicious and fresh. I ordered the pork chops, collard greens, and cornbread. The pork chops were the best I've had in a long time. I will be returning. Clean and welcoming environment.

Shirley's food would be so much better if sugar wasn't in the food. Sugar doesn't belong in soup beans and cabbage. I would eat there more often bc the food is very good. I'm limited on what I can eat from

Shirley is the pride of Toccoa. Not only is her food and service top notch, she’s an amazing woman for this community and we’re blessed to have her.
$42 for three meals and an unpacked banana pudding (all take home). The portions were very conservative, with a small spatula. The cream corn, while good, consisted of only four bites using the plastic spoon/fork provided. The corn bread was tasty, but dry and crumbled when touched. Biscuit was dry, a bit over cooked (burnt on top). The Mac/cheese tasted as if bacon grease were poured on top, attributing to the burnt look. The fried chicken breast tasty and dry. The shredded barbecue turkey was also dry.The Thanksgiving dressing tasted as if cooked from a box, rather than homemade. Far from what my Southern Ma and Grandma made.We ordered and paid for the banana pudding; but, it was not packed. The over all cost exceed expectations when considering the quality and quantity. This was not The Restaurant at the downtown Atlanta Ritz. What I keep in mind is the ministry she brings to the community. That is priceless. This, my $42 donation plus a $5 tip for the take home order, is, in my opinion, justification.Keep up the Christian Ministry!

The food is very good and the quality consistent, though it is quite niche. Reminds me of grandma's Sunday dinner. Shirley and her staff are awesome.

Parking lot was full of local tags, we were greeted on entry, service was great and the food was delicious.
They said come at 2 if homeless and hungry this woman humiliates people in need before she help. In front of a full house. They already embarrassed they have to ask but u gonna yell infront of everyoneYou: if you homeless, I ain’t nothing for ya if you ain’t homelessThem:heads down faces red yes mama we areYou: aging! “Well you better be homeless I guess go to the backThem: heads down face red walks to the back just to run out the back door bc you humiliated them in from of all kinda people!I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you don’t realize what you’re doing by acting like that but ma’am you are humiliating these people in need before you help them. So just think about that. I see all them nice things being said.. idk but that was horrible! Being nice and kind with your words is doing Gods work too! Why tell them to come if that how you treat them when they get there? Are you just doing it to look good for the people that don’t need help? Or are you doing it bc you truly want to help!?
