This place is not temporarily closed. It's permanently closed. Every time I went there. It was a little too loud for my liking. Cement walls and tall glass windows. Bright loud volume. I never ate there. The drinks for decent I

Great find in the heart of Tucker. I came here with the intention of trying a couple of their famous biscuits. Unfortunately I could only eat one with my breakfast. Huge and delicious. Great coffee from a local coffee shop as well. Friendly service. Not a very big place so plan accordingly

Several months ago a couple of my girlfriends and I got together at Hot Betty’s to have brunch and catch up. We chose Hot Betty’s because, 1) we believe in supporting local businesses, and 2) none of us had ever been there and wanted to try something new. Based on how busy they always seemed to be, we figured it must be really good, right? Wrong. When we arrived there was “at least” a 45 minute wait. I’m not a person who believes in waiting at restaurants, but I decided to grin and bear it for my friends. After waiting for about half an hour, we agreed to sit at the bar if we could just go ahead and be seated. We ordered two appetizers and biscuits, which are WAY overrated. Both of my friends ordered chicken and waffles and I ordered a burger and fries. They told us that it would be at least an hour before our food arrived because of “the way the food is prepared”, whatever that means. An hour for a burger, fries, fried chicken, and waffles? Again, I dealt with it for the sake of my friends. After right at an hour, their chicken and waffles came out, but no burger and fries. Number one rule in food service: all food is prepared in such a way that it’s hot and ready to go to the tables at the same time. My friend asked where my food was, and they said it would be a few more minutes. Their food sat getting cold because they wouldn’t eat until I had my food. My food finally came out, and the fries were cold. At that point I was beyond frustrated. I was going to deal with it, but again, my friend told them I needed hot fries. We ate and chatted over a ridiculous amount of noise, and we even witnessed an altercation between two employees behind the bar. When our checks came, I noticed a spot to donate to their efforts to add rooftop dining. Seriously??? Not a chance. I already knew I would never be going back there. I’m not in the business of badmouthing businesses, and I understand that a lot of people like Hot Betty’s, however, I just heard that they are closing or moving. This is in my support of them doing so. I’m also wondering about all the money that I’m sure other patrons donated to their fund for adding rooftop dining. Seems to me that they should get their money back. It’s probably going to their expenses to move.

I’m never disappointed by their chicken and waffles and mimosas!
Honestly have no idea what the hype of this place is. The staff is rude and inattentive. The “biscuits” are not fluffy like a biscuit, but dense like cornbread. If you’re looking for a real biscuit, this isn’t the place.

The food was amazing had to take stars off for customer service ??. The young lady with the locs needs a customer service class she was rude and inattentive.

Honestly worst breakfast spot I’ve been to. I waited to be seated and no one even acknowledged me so I went to sit at the bar. It took the bartender literally 15 minutes just to even acknowledge I was there and we made eye contact multiple times before. When I finally got my food (the Benedict) I was sooooo disappointed. It looked great but was so salty I literally had to spit it out and I couldn’t finish it. I also ordered a cocktail and it tasted like straight liquor i only took 3 sips and couldn’t drink it anymore. I’d honestly not recommend this place to anyone
