Las Colinas has had a glow up within the last year and it looks beautiful! I love the bright colors and fun instagram-able walls! The menu has changed as well, with both traditional and unique dishes. Our server/bartender, Veve, was top notch and it not for everything else, would just go back for her because she was incredibly hospitable and welcoming! Her spicy margaritas were amazing and she did not skimp on the spice, which is exactly what I asked for. This time around, we just got the salsa and chips, plus 3 steak street tacos, these did not disappoint and will definitely be back again soon to try out more of the new menu!

Miss. Tip

I visited a restaurant on Saturday and our server's name was Luis. Unfortunately, he did not provide the level of attention my guests and I required. Despite watching him attend to other customers, we struggled to get his attention. We were in need of napkins and silverware, but every time we tried to get his attention, he acted as if we were bothering him. We were not rude and the restaurant was not busy at the time of our arrival - there were only six people inside. Our drinks were also lacking in alcohol and tasted like juice. I feel like the service is poor because the tips are already included in the bill. Other customers around us were also complaining about their drinks and service. I informed the manager of our experience and he said he would talk to Luis, but I am not sure if he did anything about it. Overall, it was a disappointing first experience.Kid-friendliness: I would say it's a kid-friendly environment.

I had to stop our server for refills on drinks. We had to ask twice for everything. Once the food got dropped off.. we ate everything and still had not been checked on. We waited to ask for the check… then waited on the check FOREVER.At the end the server had the nerve to ask us loudly if everything was good. Yes everything but him and I believe he was management….. he’s overwhelmed maybe? ??‍♀️ but I don’t see how that’s possible, considering we were one of three tables.

Me and my wife chose to eat at Las Colinas for lunch. We have never eaten here as we were looking for something close by and new to us. Placing the order over the phone went smoothly, also picking up the food and communicating with the employees that worked there, they were very well mannered. Unfortunately this pleasant experience took a turn when we got back home and started to enjoy our food. My wife pulls a long hair out of her chimichanga, then it ended up breaking, so we opened up the chimichanga and there was a big black piece of curly hair underneath all the toppings. We immediately took a video and called the place back to request them to remake the food. They understood us completely and handled the situation with much professionalism. They even took the video and showed it to the kitchen staff to show how unacceptable this was. We do very much appreciate the service but we will definitely not be coming back to this establishment again. (They did not give any complimentary items for this inconvenience)

I should have read the reviews before coming here. I did a quick search for Mexican food leaving Stone Mountain park and this was the closest place. The food had no taste! The chips with salsa were plain and tasteless, as if the chips had been stored in an open container for some time. I ordered a ribeye steak which I think a rubber tire would have been easier to chew on. A waste of time and money.
