Went through the drive thru on 11-14-22 ordered a 3 piece dinner. 1st of all the server says they are short on chicken so they're going to give me 2 legs and a thighs instead of breast, thighs and wing. Then after I get home to eat I tasted 1 of the legs and it was absolutely RANCID!! THEY SERVED ME ROTTEN CHICKEN!! Never eat here!!

I really underestimated this place. Excellent fried fish just perfect and the service waa decent enough during a lunch rush with only 2 employees running the kitchen. The chicken is good but I give 4 stars because my thigh had a small scent of “old meat smell” not that bad though. The mashed potatoes are definitely mediocre but I’ll try a different side if I’m around the way. Worth a try especially the fish!

My daughter and I decided to give this place a try based on the reviews. The fish was so salty we couldn't eat it. It also looked like it was cooked in old oil. They were out of lemon juice and I don't like tarter sauce so I didn't get any. Perhaps if I had some lemon juice of counter the saltiness it would have been fine. We spent 20 dollars for two orders of one catfish filet with one side and a drink. I also order an extra catfish filet cause I really thought it was going to be good. It was $20 wasted. I will not be returning. The guy at the drive thru was nice though so I'll give the 2 stars for him.

Order the chicken gizzards from here though they seemed fresh they absolutely had no taste whatsoever to them I also order 10pc chicken and they were overall salty. For a placed with a name like mama's chicken mama forgot the seasoning on one and over seasoned the other. I'll give it two stars only because the chicken and gizzards was crunchy

Delicious fried chicken and fish! My extended family recently hosted an impromptu birthday celebration. The Mama's Chicken & Seafood staff understood the assignment. They completed our LARGE order in less than an hour. Everything was hot, fresh, seasoned well and packaged appropriately for convenient pick-up. They were courteous and helpful with taking our order and during our pick-up.

Food is a 3/5 but the low prices, convenience of liquor in store, and the fact that it's a small business propels it to 4/5. It even has a drive-thru!Chicken is flaky and crispy but could use some more flavor. Mashed potato and gravy was delcious however. The roll was store bought but for a three piece meal with a drink for under 8 dollars? All is forgiven.

I freakin love this place!! Heads up though... Sides are very small & they don't have hot sauce. They have some type of pepper sauce. Chicken is on point though. Fresh & crispy!!
1st time going there. I was extremely hungry and I wanted fried chicken since I don't fry foods in my home. I decided to get fish & shrimp meal. It only came with 1 Talapia and 3 measly shrimp and the side I opted for was the mac and cheese. It was horrible! Don't get it! So needless to say I was still hungry after eating 1 piece of fish and 3 shrimp! I should've waited and went to JJ FISH!

I wanted gizzards and this was one of the places I'd seen them on the menu. Cooked to order, light and crispy breading, marinated well, very good. I will be recommending Mama's.

Tenders are good but probably won't order the gizzards anymore. The side container for Mac and cheese is literally the size of a single teaspoon serving and to charge over $2 for it is absurd. To go containers are HORRIBLE and easily fall apart if you're not careful.

I ordered fish and hushpuppies. The food was below average. Captain D's is better. The fish is thin. The batter was very crispy. Hushpuppies were crispy on the outside, a little doughy on the inside. I did not have the chicken. I will not be going back.
