First time going. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was friendly, professional, and fast. Even the customers helped make the atmosphere inviting. I will definitely be coming back.

The freshest vegetables on earth. The most enticing desserts at the beginning of the cafeteria-style line, for you to pick and choose. A bunch of special main plates every day. Friendliest and most helpful staff. It's Matthew's. Since 1955. Always a treat.

The food ok but pricey. I tried the coconut cake but the flavor was too strong and I did not like it at all. i asked to exchange it and they very begrudgingly did so (hence 2 stars not one) . The sign clearly says it is not their policy but i had spent $18 on a large drink, the cake and 2 sides so it was to be most of my meal. It's nicer when manager wants their customer to leave happy.

It's a well oiled machine and run very efficiently. Candice is an absolute gem. On the couple times we have been there she has been the absolute most sweetest thing we have come across. She will pull up a chair, ask you how your day was, and then help you with refills. The food is by far the best southern food in Atlanta - but besides that - it's the people that makes this place so good.

Yes, outstanding southern country food cafeteria. The place is popular at lunch but the line moves fast. I had fried catfish, green beans, fried okry, chocolate pie, and iced tea. Reasonably priced, not cheap and not a rip off. I'll be back. At peak times parking can be
