I’ve been eating here about 20 years and always had good service until today. My daughter walked in before me and she was wearing a bikini top and shorts. The hostess said something to her and I missed the beginning of the conversation but I heard the hostess use the word “stupid” with her. It was all I could do to just walk out. We will never go back. Warning all my friends too.

Super disappointed with our service today. We’ve been coming to Spankys on Tybee and on River Street for years, but today we did not get our usual service. We had a large party with kids, but the manager was not willing to seat us together. We agreed to sit at separate tables which wound up being across the restaurant from each other I might add. The restaurant was not busy at all, with plenty of open tables. She refused to let us sit at tables closer to each other even though there were 2 or more plus tables available for use in our area. She refused to let an adult sit at the kids table to help keep them under control because it was one too many persons. She was extremely rude, yelled, and even said that if we weren’t happy with our experience we should go somewhere else to eat. Our poor experience does not represent our server in anyway, she was great and apologized over and over for her managers actions. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this location until they get their manager/leadership under control. This manager did not represent Spankys well. In fact, if this is how she treats customers on a normal bases I would recommend she find a different profession. In all my years, I’ve never had such a bad experience with someone who is supposed to be a leader in the customer service industry. We will not be coming to Spankys on Tybee any longer.
